Create a Cleaner, Greener and Nicer Home
Keeping our homes clean is important for our well-being, but it's also crucial to do so in a way that's kind to the planet. With increasing concern about environmental issues, many of us are seeking ways to keep our homes clean while minimizing our impact on the Earth. Here are some thoughtful tips to help you achieve a clean home that's also gentle on the planet. Choose Cleaning Products That Care It's simple to reduce your environmental impact by switching to eco-friendly cleaning products. Many conventional cleaners contain harsh chemicals that can harm the environment. Look for products that are biodegradable, non-toxic, and packaged in recyclable containers. Better yet, consider making your own cleaners using simple ingredients like vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice.
Embrace the Three Rs Reduce waste by incorporating the three Rs into your cleaning routine:
Reduce: Minimize the use of disposable cleaning products like paper towels. Opt for reusable cloths and sponges instead.
Reuse: Repurpose old items for cleaning. For example, use an old toothbrush for scrubbing small areas or an old T-shirt as a dust cloth. Recycle: Properly recycle cleaning product containers and other recyclable materials. Check your local recycling guidelines to ensure you're recycling correctly.
Conserve Water
Cleaning can be water-intensive, but there are ways to cut down on usage: Turn off the tap while scrubbing dishes or cleaning surfaces. Use a bucket of water for mopping instead of running water continuously. Fix any leaks to prevent water waste. Choose Energy-Efficient Appliances If you're in the market for new cleaning appliances, look for energy-efficient models. Appliances with the ENERGY STAR label use less energy and water, which can significantly reduce your home's environmental impact. Additionally, using cold water for laundry and washing dishes can save a substantial amount of energy.
Opt for Natural Air Fresheners
Many commercial air fresheners contain chemicals that can harm both your health and the environment. Instead, try natural alternatives like: Essential oils: A few drops in a diffuser can freshen up a room. Houseplants: Certain plants, like aloe vera and spider plants, can improve indoor air quality. DIY air fresheners: Simmering a pot of water with citrus peels, cloves, and cinnamon sticks can create a pleasant aroma.
Embrace Minimalism
A clutter-free home is easier to clean and maintain. Embrace minimalism by decluttering regularly and only keeping items that you truly need and love. This not only reduces the amount of stuff you have to clean but also helps reduce waste, as you'll be less likely to buy unnecessary items.
Use Natural Pest Control
Instead of using harsh chemicals to control pests, consider natural alternatives. For example, diatomaceous earth can be used to control ants, and neem oil is effective against various garden pests. Additionally, keeping your home clean and sealing entry points can prevent pests from becoming a problem in the first place.
Support Sustainable Brands
When purchasing cleaning supplies and household items, support brands that prioritize sustainability. Look for companies that use recycled materials, have ethical manufacturing practices, and give back to the environment through initiatives like tree planting or reducing carbon emissions. That's why we want to share a zero-waste and a safer alternative to traditional laundry detergent that is safe and kind to YOUR garments and the planet.

5 tips on how to keep garments looking good Garment Care Hacks: Surprising Tricks for Long-Lasting Clothes
As fashion enthusiasts, we all understand the joy of owning beautiful garments that make us look and feel great. However, taking care of our clothes is just as important as choosing the right pieces. With the right care and maintenance, we can ensure that our beloved garments stay in top condition for years to come.
Here are 5 essential tips to help you keep your clothes looking fresh and fabulous:
1. Follow Care Instructions: Always adhere to the care labels on your garments. Different fabrics and garments require specific care methods, such as washing temperature, drying instructions, and ironing recommendations. Following these instructions can prevent damage and maintain the quality of your clothes.
2. Proper Storage: Store your garments properly to prevent wrinkles, stretching, and damage. Hang delicate items such as dresses and blouses on padded hangers to maintain their shape. Fold knitwear and sweaters to prevent stretching. Use garment bags for special or delicate pieces to protect them from dust and moths.
3. Regular Maintenance: Attend to stains promptly to prevent them from setting in. Use appropriate stain removal techniques for different types of stains and fabrics. Additionally, regularly lint-roll your garments to keep them looking fresh and free from lint and pet hair.
4. Rotate Clothing: Avoid excessive wear and tear by rotating your clothing regularly. This allows garments to rest and recover their shape between wears, extending their lifespan. Try not to wear the same items consecutively and give them time to air out before wearing them again.
5. Quality Washing Practices: Use gentle detergents and avoid overloading the washing machine to prevent damage to fabrics. Wash similar colors together to prevent color bleeding. When possible, opt for hand-washing or gentle cycles for delicate items. Additionally, consider air-drying clothes instead of using a dryer to prevent shrinkage and fabric damage.
By following these tips, you can help prolong the life of your garments and keep them looking good for longer. Taking a little extra care with your clothes can go a long way in maintaining their quality and ensuring that you get the most out of your wardrobe.
So, let's show our clothes some love and give them the care they deserve. Your future self will thank you for the extra effort when your favorite pieces still look amazing years down the line!

Dancing in the dark
Scratching my face and I’m trying to wipe these tears I don’t know why it fell. My heart is an endless hole with thorns waiting in the middle of your fall. I’m long dead yet breathing like in and out and out and in it’s not normal but I’m still kicking cans in the pavement. I’m begging you please let me breathe properly. Let me be free from the chaotic and non-fictional war I am chained in. Help me though I seem to not need any. Hold me when the truth is I want to stand my own when I fall again. When my thoughts is a mathematical situation that you can’t solve please try to analyse it even though I know you’ll loose your time, but at least you tried. If entropy is my personality then you can think of the most nonsense stuff I made out of my imagination. If you see it, please hand it to me... give me the light so maybe just maybe I can finish dancing with my swollen left leg in the dark.

Mom says, "Why don't you try going to actual parties, see your friends" Sure I make plans, I make plans but I don't want to go I make plans because I know I should want to go; I know sometimes I would have wanted to go It's just not that fun having fun when you don't want to have fun, Mom.
