Omg ... I sent an anon about stupid twitter fandom callouts a while back AND IT WAS ABOUT CRK. God it's so funny to find out someone you follow (for xc3 and fandom meta) is also in a completely different fandom that you're coincidentally also in. These circles are much smaller than we think.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THE CONFECTIONARY AUTORUNNER FANDOM IS SO FUCKING TOXIC. Like, okay, I guess by process of elimination everything that has gotten popular since 2020 is going to be toxic to one degree or another because people simply cannot help themselves and have no manners

but like man it's literally just sugar and flour. Why are you acting like this. These are not particularly deep, intricate characters with realistic life arcs, they're fun little concepts given papercut appearance. Their stories are about Cool Shit That Happens without any rhyme or reason or thematic coherence.

CROB/CRK drama is perhaps the most revealing of how much of moral panic callout bullshit is people whose hobby it is to bully other people Doing That and Finding Reasons To Do That. How much the morality games are the point, and serve no purpose other than to be done because the people doing them think it's entertaining or have a hobby of getting high off their own moral righteousness.

Getting into CROB in 2019 was, like, my last drop, I'd been going through the swings and roundabouts of getting caught in fandom moral panics and then I realised that perhaps the bullshit I was seeing in all my other fandoms actually made as little sense there as it did for the fucking biscuit game.

I just love the embittered apostate vibe of Pomegranate being like "I'm gonna serve the Dark because you abandoned me" towards Millenial Tree, I like how hard Pomegranate doubles down on Fuck The World This Is My Destiny, and while that is also fun in the context of, like. Starfruit who mirrors her and the two of them having that concordance over being playthings of fate (neg (pos)) (pos (neg)), I also famously love Ageless Motherfucker With All The Power Who Can't Do Anything To Fix Anything.

The new event is so fun for me personally because White Peach is doing the same thing with Umbra and it's really obvious her heart is not in it the way Pomegranate's is, even though both of them literally are like "you destroyed my family and my clan and my way of life and spared me and so that means I'm Special and I'm going to be Your Perfect Servant", like. Girl!! Have some self-respect!!

I am a CROB purist, I have tried and not liked any of the spinoff games (and I can only realistically keep up with two mobile games so CROB and PoGo win out as the favourites).

My most favourite cookie, for tasteless reasons, is probably Pomegranate Cookie.

Out of cookies I like both the designs and mechanics for, I really like Avocado, Aloe, White Ghost and Almond (even if I don't really care for the constant puns from Cado), but just purely from a visual standpoint (even though they have so-so mechanics), I also really like Cappuccino, Croissant, Blueberry Pie and Mocha Ray.

As a group my favourites are the TBD cookies, not a single bad design among them. (My second favourite is probably City of Wizards, it's literally just Fortune Cookie I don't like.) My favourite legendary would be a tight squeeze between Timekeeper and Dreamweaver -- if Xylitol Nova didn't exist, because I am a fucking parody of myself.

My white whale is my girl Pistachio, who will never receive the candy and the rework she deserves. At least she has some banging outfits.

Glass dildos and buttplugs are fine -- great, even.
