“you don’t like halloween?” she asked with a tilt of her head. “i’m not sure i’ve ever heard someone more excited for thanksgiving than halloween.”

arty wanted to say no, to tell the other she had better things to do but when she looked up sand saw the big smile plastered on the others face she couldn’t tell her no. “fine.” she said with a shake of her head. “I’ll go in! but you gotta come fishing with me sometime to make up for it now!”

she sinks to the ground, crisscrossing her legs as she does. ❝ i might need a little help getting back out. i’m not in the woods very often. ❞ she says, soft smile on her face. ❝ honestly, i doubt i’d have come out here alone if i realized where i was headed. i think i got mixed up somewhere around the park. odd, since i’ve lived here all my life, but it is what it is. do you fish out here often? it looks peaceful. ❞

“i don’t mind helping you out with that. i’m pretty sure its in my job description anyway.” she said with a light chuckle. “yeah its not exactly the kinda place you wanna be alone, especially if you didn’t mean to end up out here.” she said, handing one of the drinks to the other before opening one for herself. “oh yeah, i’m out here for a few hours pretty much everyday. it really calms me. you ever been fishing?”

why was sloane even in the woods? she hated them. too many bugs and creepy crawlies for her liking. she’d been walking, trying to clear her head, and hadn’t really noticed where she was going, until she realized she was headed toward the lake. probably not a good idea to be in the woods alone, but the sun was out, so how bad would it be? ❝ oh, sorry. i didn’t realize. ❞ she says, stopping in her tracks. the heels of her boots were making a distracting sound as they clicked against the dock, weren’t they?

Arty looked back, realizing who stood near her. “Nah nah, its okay. No worries.” she said softly. She motioned to the cooler beside of her. “You can sit if you want.” she said, slowly reaching over and popping two drinks from the cooler first. “I’m surprised to see anyone else out here alone. I can walk you out after I’m done if you want.”

Arty sat on the edge of the dock, her fishing pole resting next to her, cast out into the water and waiting on something to bite. Her Ranger’s cap was pull down over her eyes, shading them from the sun. She only looked up when she heard the sound of footsteps along the dock, lifting the brim of the cap and looking in the direction of the sound. “You’re disturbing the fish.” she said nodding towards the body of water. “I’ve been waiting for a bite forever.”

hi!! hello! nico here introducing you to the first of probably many of my babies! this is artemis foley, arty for short and she’s Benjamin Willis aka The Fisherman from the I Know What You Did Last Summer series!

ARTEMIS FOLEY is a 20 YEAR OLD CIS FEMALE (SHE/HER). Don’t they look eerily like NATALIA DYER? They were once known as BENJAMIN WILLIS (THE FISHERMAN), but now they’re yet another Deacon Falls VILLAIN. 

Arty is a pretty well composed person, able to keep her chill and playful demeanor at most times. She’s acts kind but behind that is secretly calculating, taking in every bit of information that she can about those around her.

She also has extremely bad temper, one that causes her other side to flare up. For a long time she tried to stop this, knowing that terrible things happened when Benjamin came out but more recently she’s stopped trying, letting him take full control in those times. That side has even started to take over more often, even when she’s not angry. 

She was raised in a survivalistic enviornment by her mothers, her family had plenty of money but she was constantly in the woods, learning to hunt, fish and fend for herself if the time ever came. Her mothers being the kind of women you’d see on the show Doomsday Preppers. As such, she’s a crackshot with most firearms, her bow and an excellent fisherman. 

Most times you can catch her hanging around her own little cabin she’s built out in the woods, fishing at the docks or at the ranger tower.
