“Great! I think I still have your number from that statistics project, so I’ll text you sometime soon.” You put your notebook back in your bag and smiled brightly, shoes clicking on the pavement as you turned to leave. “See you!” 

Feitan just held up a hand and waved ever so slightly. 

You left, leaving Feitan, Phinks and Chrollo by themselves, the latter two both looking at each other in confusion, Phinks, in particular, looking like he was struck by lightning. Chrollo controlled his emotions a bit better, and just fashioned a calm smile, turning to Feitan with the intention to clarify matters. 

“Who was that?”

“You mean what the fuck was that?” Phinks interrupted before Feitan could even begin to explain, the blonde’s eyes wide and hands flying into the air with an exaggerated motion. “’Interview about the wellbeing of international students on campus;?! Since when do you care about crap like that?”

“It is favour.” Feitan refused to show any kind of reaction. “She help me with applying for art project.”

That seemed to satisfy neithers question. 

“Pakunoda once busted you out of juvy and you didn’t show up the next day to her birthday because you ‘didn’t feel like it’.” Feitan’s indifference to the anecdote only fueled both men’s confusion at the sudden change of heart. “Since when do you do anything out of the kindness of your heart?”

“I pick you up from airport.”

“Six years ago, Fei!” 

Feitan shrugged.
