There are poets who aren’t into the whole dark academia thing btw. I don’t care about your shit-brown filters and boring black coffees. I’m gonna dress like a freak and dig a bag of chips outta the trash and go sit under that bridge with the graffiti and type on my phone until my eyes are burning and I’ve written something I won’t die reading at the underground coffee shop this week. I’m not in love and I don’t want to be. I’m autistic and unromantic as shit, yet I’m one of the most loved poets in my local scene. Fuck ur dark academia and ur high standards for what a writer should be. There will always be disgusting and unlovable folks who crank out the best shit, and it’ll always be better than any aesthetic you could tell people to conform to.

i think my favorite thing about the saw franchise is that they don't cgi the actors to look younger no matter what fucking timeline we're in like they put tobin in a backwards baseball cap to show he was younger and said fuck it saw x takes place before saw 2 and if amanda looks older no she doesn't go fuck yourself and i think that's wonderful

breaking up with a “nice guy” always feels like a danganronpa trial. I just gotta put together all the facts supporting why I’m breaking up with him. I gotta present them gently and calmly. Once he realizes what’s going on, he’s gonna turn into a completely different person and scream at me about how I’m wrong about everything I’ve ever said in my life. Then I gotta find the weak spots in his arguments, do a start-to-finish recap of what made me decide to leave him, and put my foot down for the last time while he’s still screaming at me and calling me a bitch & a liar. Maybe after a few minutes he’ll have a somber monologue of “fine, go ahead and leave me, just like everyone else does. I always knew this would happen.” And then he’s just out of my life and I gain access to something new.
