Do you trust each other with your lives? What don’t you trust each other for?

Yes. House willingly almost killed himself for my girlfriend that he didn't even like. Unfortunately, to that point, it's not a position I ever want House to be in, because he doesn't have enough care for his own life or health. I don't trust him with pretty much anything small, because I know he will get bored and find some way to prank me. If he gets me coffee, the coffee is probably drugged. If he buys me furniture, the furniture is probably broken or something. Very weird man to live with.

What behavioral shifts would make each other think there is something wrong? I’m assuming House being punctual is one of them. And I’m sure when Wilson sleeps at a hotel, alarm bells go off.

For House? There's a lot. If he appears to have an ounce of patience for the patients, he's on something stronger than Vicodin. If he's cutting himself off from everyone and getting irritable, he's either in more pain than usual, feeling guilty about something, or more depressed than usual. If he's not playing pranks on me, something's usually wrong.

when something goes really wrong, wilson looks for some big change so he feels in control. sometimes he tries to cut me off, sometimes he decides to move, it's all over the place. any change at all really in the way he acts is a bad sign.
