Well the annual whale migration is in full swing with not only Humpback whales but Minke whales making a presence at Port Stephens. Now for a Southern Right Whale. The 10th Anniversary Sail Port Stephens drew to a close today in the same way it started - with the wind and weather gods smiling for a magic final day, with gentle east- to nor-east winds. In the final wash-up the divisional results were incredibly close - congratulations to the winners. Again another nice find from the Hover UAV Kiama team. Today a 2.0m White Shark off Surf Beach, Kiama.

Keep safe on NSW beaches today with a large swell pounding a lot of the coast. Our Hover UAV team spotted 2 distressed male swimmers prior to life guards starting for the day while out on a shark surveillance route. Swimmers were stuck in a rip on the north end of Main Beach being sucked out to sea through rough sea. Our team notified authorities and continuing surveillance of the swimmers until they were rescued. Great save Brian and Bob In Kiama.
