If you’re happy where you are it’s perfectly fine, to those that find complacency comfortable, all that matters is maintaining their current satisfaction. But if you seek improvement it’s imperative to see the person you were yesterday as a rival, do this and leave yourself behind, but thank them treat them with respect, it’s only thanks to them that you got this far.

Another year ends like a fire calmly in the night. It begins to die out as we let the burning scraps of time it had left turn to ash, as memories of the blaze are all we can take with us. Uncertain is the future ahead but let us light a match in search of a new flames warmth.

Regretting the fact that I’m probably gonna spend like 30 minutes trying to write something worthy of becoming the sequel to this for new years. I set the bar higher than I should’ve, so now I can’t reach over to grab a drink
Tonight when the clock resets. Rejoice for the world shall be born anew, for the seasons to begin again and life to flourish. Let time wash away your past and turn the future to present.

I am, what I will always be, regardless of what I think I am, or another might think I am to be. So today, which might only ever be significant to me. I’ve decided to express to the void whether or not the voice is heard a celebration of time passed. Happy birthday to the digital account of a person I can only pretend is me.

Reckless is one who acts without regard for consequence, but late is one who only acts when victory is assured.
Some who think themselves wise seek balance, but even the best can lose their footing, or grow tired of responsibility.
We need the reckless to act on time, the hesitant to understand the issue, and those in between to reign them in should they stray too far.

Everyone that has ever lived, experiences the world differently. We are all spectators looking at the same present and coming to different conclusions. Many have the idea that their experience is "correct", and that people who disagree are simply broken. If that was the case than we are all broken. If it isn't it must mean we are all perfectly functional. Morality itself is relative to every separate conclusion a person comes too, even if everyone believes something is a problem that needs to be solved the solution each person comes up with conflicts with another creating new problems. Believing in something shouldn't mean disregarding another's beliefs, this replicates arrogant belief that allows you to separate yourself from others. "Clearly what you see and how you understand things must be correct" is a mere justification for a selfish desire to hold oneself above others. Once you make that separation it makes it easy to say or do horrible things while maintaining your sense of morality. Turning the strange ideas of another into some plot or idiotic and foolish endeavor. Once someone separates themselves from something enough you become reliant on them being wrong or else everything you've done comes crashing back down, this is how villains are born. Your pride births a monster from your perspective, and if you dont stop feeding it, it will keep eating until it consumes you entirely.
the most horrific effect that these monsters have is that others witnessing the atrocities will believe themselves separate thus creating the potential to create new monsters.

If you think about it taxes are just rent you’re born with and have to pay upon death.
You don’t even get to directly negotiate price, but you and the other few billion tenants get to pick between (mostly) incompetent or evil landlords to switch between.

A truth, is by definition something that we cannot change, it exists in a place beyond what we can bend or break.
But belief, belief is malleable, it can change based on context, new information, or even emotions.
the identity of a truth is inconsequential when we believe something, because truth in its unchanging nature cannot depict itself, a truth isn’t some inherently known idea it just is.
So we believe, we believe what is, what isn’t, what will be, and what will never happen. Beliefs are simply our interpretations of a truths shadow.

Typical fairy-tale trapped in a tower waiting for someone to rescue them plot line, but switch the roles.
Stereotypical knight guy trapped in a tower guarded by a terrifying princess, and a dragon shows up to save the knight
Or
A wounded/otherwise incapacitated dragon is being held captive by some merciless knight and the princess shows up to save it

“Oh yeah? I’d like to see you do any better”
The demon comes back 10 minutes later missing a horn.
Can you imagine being the devil trying to explain to some demons how you lost your golden fiddle to a random guy in Georgia.

Did anyone ever actually find out what the value of a hard days work is?
Or did we trick ourselves into believing the satisfaction of completing something had extra value when you hate doing it.
You can spend the day working hard and still enjoy it.
Maybe my problem with it is people using it to convince others to settle for terrible jobs.
