Mary Kills People #204 “Ride or Die”

Mary faces the consequences from Ben after taking Travis Bloom and Jess & Naomi are on the outs while cleaning up after their party.

Mary and Des meet up in the George Street Diner after taking care of Travis Bloom.

Jess and Naomi clean up at 90 Cumberland Drive after the party.

Des returns home to 245 Carlaw Avenue and is visited by Joshua Yang.

Mary heads to work at Bridgepoint Health Hospital and learns about the investigation into Betty Lisko’s death.

Ben asks Olivia some questions about her husband at TG Appliance Group and then plants a bug in her office.

Des takes Joshua to Underpass Park where he goes on a date with his childhood friend Kailey.

Nicole stands Jess and Naomi on Cherry Beach to work out their differences.

Ben meets with his boss just off Old Brewery Lane under King Street.

Mary is driving south down Bayview Avenue in the Don Valley when she sees a black van following her.

I still need to identify Nicole, Joshua, & Kailey’s houses and Ben’s trailer.

Mary: I’m not going to kill your husband.

O: Do you believe in karma?

M: Karma?

O: You know, what goes around comes around? How our actions manifest themselves into reciprocal actions in the future? Consequences?

M: No, I don’t believe in karma.

O: I didn’t think you would. You’re gonna kill my husband, Mary, and you’re gonna do it tonight.

M: I already told you I’m not going to do that. I’m not a killer.

O: But that’s not what you told me. In fact, you told me that you let my brother bleed out and die, so whether you believe it or not, you brought yourself to this moment.

M: Hey, why can’t you just do it yourself?

O: You’re smarter than that, Mary. Everyone knows the first person the police suspect is the spouse.

M: You’ll be a suspect regardless.

O: Not when you make it look natural, just like you do with all your patients.

M: I can make it look natural because my patients are already dying.

O: You really are a saint, Mary, helping people die with dignity. 

(factory noise)

O:  It’s like I’m talking to myself. Randall? Randall? Did I not ask you to make them stop?… No, you know what? Don’t bother. I actually like the sound of banging.

(gunshot) 

O: You were saying?

M: You already have the gun. It would be so easy for you to just kill him yourself.

O: But I want you to be my gun, Mary.

M: Where do I go?
