And this is why I like having a beard. The perfect way to conceal at least a bit of a blush. Coming from Barbie herself, I might have to call my mum and tell her about this. Fortunately enough, they are. It's extraordinary that many people would even take the time to come here me yodel down a mic for a wee while. Those are indeed great ways to relieve stress. Grew up hiking myself there back home and it's always been rather cathartic.
i'm not surprised that you've been lucky enough to make a living off of it all. you're an amazing artist and not bad to look at either. those tour dates better be sold out in seconds flat cause if not then they aren't worthy of it all. i tend to resort to meditation or hiking surprisingly, it's a good way to release things and just bring yourself back to that place of calming sensations.

Ay, right. Being idle for too long at this point tends to give way to dreadful anxiety. It's why I've finally built a studio in home to try and stave off some of the jitters. You're not? Maybe I've been decieved life long but I could have sworn you were meant to stretch out in those things.
That first week is great when you're home and have time to yourself...and then by week 2 you're trying to find reasons to get out and find more work. Oh my god! You're not supposed to like...extend your legs in it. Kids, yes, but it's not like you're actually swimming. It's just like...taking a bath in the sun, kinda.

I hope you enjoyed your frolic into the great unknown, aka, giant music festivals. You never really do quite get used to them in case you're wondering. I'm doing well, thank you. Into the first work of tour and with a song of mine taking off the way it has unexpectedly, things have been a bit hectic, but I'm most certainly not complaining.
you and me both buddy. i have no idea what's going on with coachella or with the people that are stuck here. i'm just going to sit back and watch it all go. so far so good, even if i did show up a bit late but it's been pretty good so far. what about you?

What was that like? Surprising as it is I have yet to have a real coachella experience and you got to go as an observer. It always sounds exhausting and overwhelming to me with just the sheer amount of people that are there. But of course you'd be far braver than I given your on set experiences. Who's set did you enjoy seeing the most?
i am happy to say i have survived my first coachella. i intend on making the most of our final days here. though i do miss my bed and it's back to work shortly after. i'm also relieved i know how to handle hangovers or i'd be hugging the toilet instead of heading out of the room. @glamourstarters

Tonight is the first leg of tour and with that I'll be spending pretty much the rest of my year on the road. It's been quite the ride finding so much success ten years into a career I only ever wanted to be able to be lucky enough to make a living off of. Now I'm selling more tickets than ever and I hate even saying that because it feels like I'm bragging. But living in the moment is such a surreal experience, especially when you're a decade into your career. What do you like to do for stress relief and to pass the time when you feel you're at the peak of your busy season?

I can relate. Except I feel like I wrote an album where I ended up chasing the person I'm feeding grapes through all nine circles... And I'd probably do it again. You're very smart to find a group of comrades to share that type of love rather than being foolish and putting all your eggs in one basket. At least sounds like you're having fun.
you know those movies where the villain lounges in the shade, getting fed grapes by a harem of women, not lifting a finger? where can i find a group of women that can please and entertain me? all i'm saying is, i'm struggling to get over this hangover and i could really use a harem right about now. / @glamourstarters

I relate there. For me I enjoy a little time at home before I start feeling restless. Even though I'm a big fan of being on my own with a few people I love and trust. If I'm alone for too long I tend to go pretty stir crazy. I appreciate my mom and my family in general and too long without them has been the hardest thing about all of this. Although if it were warm enough in Ireland for the entire summer season I'd definitely volunteer for sitting around all day in a kiddie pool. But at nearly 6'6 finding one I'd fit in would be a challenge. Adulting is exactly what tells me I shouldn't care about that sort of thing, though. What's it like being able to fit comfortably into recreational activities?
anyone else tell themselves over and over the night before your day off you're gonna get your life straightened out and deep clean your whole apartment and get a lot of shit done tomorrow...and then the next day you find yourself going to target and back home setting up a kiddie pool with no intention of doing what you need to do since the devil on your shoulder woke you up and told you that it's hot and you need a kiddie pool to relax in after being at a festival and convincing yourself adulting can be done a different day? i can't adult. @glamourstarters

Is this for coachella? I'm so terrible at being in the loop with these things. Of course I knew it was going on but who all was there is kind of lost on me. Are you at least having fun?
weekend number two is coming up and i'm pissed that i missed the first weekend. i need to know what's going on. what's the drama? who are we cheering for? what artists are we pumped to see for this second weekend? give me everything i've missed. @glamourstarters
