Today, July 7, 2025 the official employment contract has been signed with the new employee at h/p/cosmos sports & medical (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. Welcome to the h/p/cosmos family.

The contract was signed by Junchen ZHAO as the employee and Liqiang Qin, the Managing Director of h/p/cosmos China (Tianjin) as the employer. Alexander Böck (Managing Director of h/p/cosmos Germany), Lixue Harrer and Franz Harrer joined the signing ceremony on-line via video call.

Junchen ZHAO has completed the required courses of the Master's program in Sports Somatic Science at Beijing Sport University from September 2022 to June 2025 (as full-time student), and has been awarded the Certificate of Graduation.

Sports Somatic Science, also known as Exercise Science or Human Performance, is a multidisciplinary field that studies how the body functions during physical activity, exercise, and training. It integrates knowledge from various scientific areas like physiology, psychology, biomechanics, and nutrition to understand and optimize human performance in sports and exercise. Somatics, specifically, focuses on improving body awareness and releasing unnecessary muscle tension to enhance athletic performance and prevent injuries.

Already in April 2025 Junchen joined the h/p/cosmos distributor meeting in Munich, visited FIBO exhibition in Cologne and received also a comprehensive products service and application training at h/p/cosmos factory and headquarter in Nussdorf-Traunstein / Germany.

Junchen will handle technical service issues, installation, application and sales support to customers, dealers and other service engineers.

Among his skills are also the operation of biomechanics-related software as well as data collection and processing, using software and programming languages such as Matlab, R, Python, and SPSS.

In 2023 Junchen served the Chinese Women's Field Hockey Team, undertaking the work of video tactical analysis, which provided strong support for the Chinese Women's Field Hockey Team to achieve excellent results in the Hangzhou Asian Games. And he received a letter of thanks from the National Olympic Sports Center.

In 2024 Junchen conducted a questionnaire survey on sports injuries among runners and analyzed the biomechanical characteristics of runners with patellofemoral pain. Designed and distributed questionnaires, collected data from a large number of runners, and used statistical software for data analysis to identify significant factors related to lower limb injuries. Also designed and conducted experiments, collected data using a motion capture system and a force plate, and analyzed the kinematic and kinetic characteristics of the lower limbs of patients with patellofemoral pain. This provided a theoretical basis for the subsequent design of running shoes that can improve runner comfort and reduce the risk of injury.

With his expertise in biomechanics and sport science Junchen will contribute a lot to the competence and growth of h/p/cosmos in China and other regions.

Über 110 Firmen und fast 2.000 Teilnehmer waren dieses Jahr beim 3. Chiemgau Firmenlauf dabei. Mit 22 Teilnehmern war auch unser Team in diesem Jahr wieder mit von der Partie und konnte bei bestem Laufwetter sogar einen Sieg in der Kategorie „Schnellste Teamleiterin“ erlaufen!

Use of phone during h/p/cosmos sports & medical gmbh distributor meeting mandatory.

Impressions of the last day during the h/p/cosmos distributor meeting. To cope with regulatory requirements for medical devices all participants were undergoing a test with the content of the last 2.5 days product and application sessions.

Excellent feedback and results can be stated as a summary of this meeting and training.

Welcome to the third and last day of our International Distributor Meeting 2025! The sessions just started and we are happy to see you all again in the beautiful scenery of Schloss Hohenkammer – especially after the great visit at Brewery Weihenstephan yesterday! The morning started with a wrap up session and marketing insights before getting into service obligations, QM and Regulatory Affairs!
