✧ HELLO TAGS ！we thought we'd give a little update on how things are going with the rp since we've posted our interest check! there are also some things that have changed from the previous announcement. here are some updates: we have successfully created six unique groups and are in the process of finishing up the discography of two of them. after that, we're pretty much good to go! decided to keep the trainee system! so we'll have more variation in terms of muses. we also have a secret plot revolving around trainees. the server is also set up properly now so we're ready to welcome everyone once the wips have been finished. our tentative reopening date is on the second or third week of august and we'll send out invites to those who reacted to our interest check. so please make sure to check that out!

✧ HELLO TAGS ！we've been on hiatus for almost a little over nine months and would like to check if there's an interest in making stardust a small writing community that's primarily invite only. if there is enough interest, we may proceed with opening our doors again. do let us know if you're interested by liking/replying or sending us a message directly to our inbox/instant message! some changes we're looking into are underneath the cut for those who have been part of stardust previously and are aware of how it functioned as well as general changes

we'll be getting rid of the points system which means individuals are freer to choose which claims they want to have

we'll be sticking with our star factor ratings (basically things that determine popularity and skill) and the rp will focus on things such as public perception, individual skill and etc.

utilizing a bot for farming currency that can be used for different perks such as member created groups, event perks such as we got married and so on. (very tentative)

we'll be focusing on established and already debuted group, soloists, models, actors and staff, getting rid of the trainee system

all groups will be under one company

✧ HELLO STARSHINES ！ we announced this in the server and would like to formally announce it here as well. we are putting stardust on a hiatus. as of right now, both admins are finding it hard to dedicate time to the roleplay while we are experiencing personal problems that need more of our time and energy. however, like we mentioned, this is not an au that we want to completely end since we put a lot of time and thought into making this so we are simply going on a hiatus. although we have no specific date for when we will open again, rest assured that while we are taking our much needed break we are also thinking of ways to improve this experience for everyone in the future. thank you to everyone who has shown interest and have been patient with us. we hope to see you again!

hyperion's music was not something that the general public warmed up to as quickly when they debuted in 2017 with low album sales and poor promotion from dream factory because of it. the boys themselves believed they wouldn't make it big, but during their second year as a group, dream factory decided to put them on their first asia tour to promote their album. they started gaining more attention due to their sweet fan interactions and exceptional performances that concert goers were able to witness and happily shared on social media, which led to the group to trend. their debut song shot back up the charts following their social media fame. netizens nicknamed them "live performance titans", a play on their name hyperion. however, their fame caused many fans to want to gatekeep them, the group unknowingly fostering a parasocial relationship due to fanservice that dream factory pushes them to do in order to gain more fans. ──⠀⠀❪⠀members: seven ( age range 1995-1999 ) ★⠀discography⠀❫

✧ POST OPENING UPDATE  ！  the admin team would like to thank everyone for the interest and enthusiasm they've shown from the interest check down to our opening date. we're very touched by the interest from the community and look forward to building this collective with everyone. our mun slots are now full, but we definitely are discussing increasing it. for now, those who have messaged us after the mun slots filled up will be put on a waitlist if they wish !

will there be soloists within the companies or are you focusing on groups for now?

✧ HELLO NONNIE  ！  yes, we will be focusing on our groups for now and our established group members do have solo opportunities as well. there are definitely plans to open up soloist spots not affiliated with any group though in the not so far away future !
