write the quote “if the sun can wake up every morning and warm the earth, so can i.” in all languages you can speak
if the sun can wake up every morning and warm the earth, so can I
매일 아침 해가 뜨면서 세상을 비출수 있으면 나도 할 수있다
si el sol puede subir cada mañana y calentar el mundo, entonces yo también
如果每天早晨太阳可以都能升起并温暖世界, 我也可以
~that’s pretty ^^

[Day 9/100]
I felt so productive today! I was really stressed because I had a biology lab quiz today and also had to study for 3 tests that I have tomorrow (one of which was unplanned). For the tests, I was so behind on all the topics, that I was overwhelmed before I even started, but I think that I got the hang of calculus, so I can focus on the other ones. On a good note, I got accepted to a university! I applied as a safety, but I’m so glad I got in :):):)
I’m going to go to sleep a lot earlier than usual to wake up early tomorrow and study ^^
Pic from a cafe I like to study at (peep my friend in the back!) disclaimer: this was not meant to be an aesthetic pic so don’t expect it, I just wanted a picture of the coffee and I forgot to take another pic while studying so that’s what I posted 🤷♀️

do you listen to music when studying or do you prefer silence? if you listen to music what are your top three songs on your study playlist?
I usually don’t listen to music because I find that it distracts me, even if it doesn’t have lyrics. However, when I do listen to music I just search up lofi hip hop and listen to that ^^

[Day 8/100]
Whew I have a couple days before my next tests. It really feels like I’m just surviving day by day, but I’m still pretty unmotivated for some reason :( I found myself getting distracted by social media and Netflix, so I deleted those. I’m SO tired right now and just want to sleep for 12 hours, but the best I can do is 6, so I hope those are restful ^^

Do you have an ultimate study tip that you would recommend?
Make sure you learn the material properly. For me, the worst thing about studying is when I know the subject just enough to not want to study it but not enough to do well on the test. I study by going through every single little bit of information and taking notes (handwritten or typed), but if I know half the information, I don’t want to do it anymore.
[Day 7/100]
I did okay on my biology midterm! Definitely could have been better but it’s okay ^^ Was really unmotivated but studied a little bit for my economics exam tomorrow, and I’m hoping to get 6 hours of sleep for tomorrow :)
(I didn’t take any study pictures today whoops)

Do you have a favorite quote? Share it with us!

Sometimes it’s hard for me to believe that someone cares for me that much, but when I see His love for me, it’s overwhelming.

[Day 6/100]
I had an early morning meeting on top of daylight savings, which was tiring to say the least. After church, I studied for several hours then took a nap around 8pm (because the day is too long). When I woke up though, I was in no mood to study so I went for a drive for some fresh air and started to work on biology again around 1am. I’m only partially comfortable with the information and don’t really feel prepared for the midterm, but I should sleep because it’s already 4am and this is the first of four exams I have this week...

Can you recommend us a book to read?
The Screwtape letters by C. S. Lewis
How do you de-stress?
Great question, I just... sleep, eat, or play piano or guitar. I’m going with sleep for today :)
Sorry I missed a day yesterday, I was kind of busy with classes, meeting with people, and my part time job. So tired... and I have four exams this coming week 😭 planning on going to sleep earlier tonight because I have an early morning meeting tomorrow.
I’ve been pretty stressed out school AND personal relationships at the same time, which honestly is a bad combination :( I feel like I don’t have enough time for anything (also due to me overloading my schedule and stuff) but oh well. this too shall pass.

If you could live in any era, which one would it be and why?
I would live in the future where technology is still tools for us humans, but far more advanced than it currently is. There would be a lot more knowledge to gain wisdom from, a lot more tools to take advantage of, and a lot more information to synthesize into new ideas. I guess one immediate downside to this futuristic era would be the difficulty of innovation, but I believe that we are creative enough to overcome that barrier. I’m a very tech-heavy person, and quick to take advantage of all the features of a particular item, so I’d love to have more at my beckoning.

[Day 4/100]
I’m very glad that I’ve been productive yesterday and today because I got so behind on schoolwork. I studied calculus at the school library for about 2 hours, and then went home to take a nap hehe 🙃 afterwards, I met up with another friend to study at a boba shop, where I studied biology diagrams for 3 hours, but my friend wasn’t done with his physics so we moved to a 24hr donut shop and studied until a bit after midnight ^^
Overall very pleased with the work I got done today :):):)

A photo of your supplies

This is what I brought to the library with me to study today! In this pic:
My iPad to write notes / have useful reference material up
My laptop to type notes / code / have more useful reference material up
Java textbook that I didn’t actually end up using
Bible just cuz
Little brown notebook I use as my planner (compiled to-do lists haha)
Kakao friends Ryan sticky note collection
Mini stapler
Earbuds
My pencil case:
Small ruler from Daiso
0.5mm mechanical pencil with 2H lead
Eraser
A 0.38mm black gel pen
Fine tip black sharpie
0.3mm blue Pen
0.38mm green and red muji pens
Warm yellow mildliner

[Day 3/100]
Today was actually really productive—my lab ended a little bit early so I started studying in the library from 5pm. It took me three hours to complete my java assignment, and I spent another hour doing calculus homework problems. I got home and took some economics notes while watching YouTube, then just relaxed~ :) I’m nervous for the coming weeks though, because I have 3-4 exams ever week for the next three weeks AND my college decisions are coming out in the same time period 😬

A photo of your study space
Well... it’s very crowded and not at all aesthetic but here it is:

The first two are my desk at home... it used to be our dining room table but we got another one so it became my desk hehe. It’s very big but I don’t know how to use the space or organize effectively so I have a bunch of stuff piled on one end... if anyone has suggestions, please let me know bc idk what to do with it anymore :(
[Day 2/100]
The third pic is me studying today at Tastea (a boba shop). I actually study more at cafés and boba stores than at home, although I have been trying to get into the habit of studying at home. You’ll see that I’m savvy with technology and love using it to study ^^
I only went to one hour of class today because I was sick and slept through the rest, but I got a bit of work done. I hope I don’t get too behind on school work because it seems like all I’ve been doing is sleeping...

Why do you like the subject you’re studying?
I enjoy learning sciences in general because it helps me connect and understand the different mechanisms that combine to form life as we know it. I also like math because it’s like puzzles that I learn different ways to solve, although at times it does seem impractical.

[Day 1/100]
I’m actually sick right now, so I ended up sleeping for most of the day but here’s a picture from me taking notes from my bio lab manual during a lecture today. In the mug is hot honey ginger tea to help with my sore throat.

Introduce yourself! What are you studying? What are your interests? What are your goals for this month? Any fun facts?
Hello! My name is Hannah and I’m a senior in high school and also enrolled as a first year at a nearby community college. My current courses are economics and myth at my high school and chem, bio, calculus, and java at the college.
My goals for this month are to not lose motivation to study until after finals (last week of March) and maintain my mental health through college decisions!
Fun fact: I have carpal tunnel so I shouldn’t actually be doing a lot of the handwriting or typing required in classes but oh well 🤷♀️
