Anomalisa is a beautifully animated creation from the mind of Charlie Kaufman, but I can’t help but be a bit disappointed with it; especially compared to his other works.

Like the look, and DeHaan's Dean, but the Pattinson side of the story seems totally forced. And kind of dull. Corbijn's direction is solid across the board as well, but easily his weakest film, even if he's making the most of his limited budget.

Moss is pretty crazy here, but Perry, I just don't know if he and I jive. Loved Moss' segment in Listen Up Phillip, I guess I will hold out for his Winnie the Pooh.

Could have been something great, but a bit too tedious, even if Noe pulls off what he was going for. Better actors might have made the difference.

Inspired and mostly engaging, but a giant mess all the same. Felt like I needed to feel more of the humor, didn't really come through for me, even with the absurdity it was throwing up on the screen.
