Theseus nodded and grinned. He’s loved being able to take Lally to a few places, and he loved her showing him around too. “I can see why you’re coming this way.”

Theseus blinked and sat up slowly when he heard Lally’s voice. It wasn’t who he had expected to be by his bedside but, he was pleasantly surprised. Especially when it was someone that he cared for deeply.

“I don’t look like shit do I?” He asked her.

Lally instinctively grabbed his hand, offering a small squeeze. She felt rather proud of both Jacob and Queenie. Queenie being like a little sister to her given her own close friendship with Tina. And Jacob because of how hard he fought and what he’d faced, all to reach exactly this moment. She was glad she got to work with him. She leaned in closer to Theseus. “I don’t think they even noticed.”

Theseus squeezed her hand back and smiled softly. He tried to hide a chuckle at the point about the icing and turned to look towards Lally. “At least now we get a proper slice.”

He might complain about her layers, but he had his own things. And that tie would be next to go, though she could think of a few good uses for it.

Theseus smirked against her skin and ran and started unbuttoning her blouse with quick fingers. “It’s just like unwrapping a present. Feels like my birthday and Christmas has all come at once.”

She turned to look up at him. “He’s my collegue. And he was wondering If I could convince your brother to come speak to his class about his book.”

Theseus hadn’t even expected the words to come of her mouth. He hadn’t expected Lally to show up in general. He couldn’t help but smirk though at the talk of his ass. “By all means go ahead and grab it.”

Since she'd had to go to the Ministry anyway, she made her way quickly to his office where she'd found him leaned over grabbing something. "You know, you might not have much of an ass," she started. Lally laughed, covering her mouth with her hand to muffle the sound. “Good luck. I’ll let your brother fight you on that,” She said, heading over to watch the couple. It was cute the way Jacob wrapped his hands around Queenie’s as they held the knife together and cut into the cake.

Theseus smirked slightly and stood beside Lally, as he watched the couple with the cake. He couldn’t help but, grin. Even with the slight twinge of sadness of how he never got to have this with Leta, he still thought that they were a rather infectious with their joy kind of couple.

Theseus grinned at her. “I enjoyed it too.” He told her as he looked over when Queenie and Jacob had started heading over to cut the cake. “Not a word about the icing.” He whispered. “If anyone we blame it on Newt’s creatures.”

Lally was glad to have a chance to pay for them, knowing how often Theseus did. Plus she figured he’d come all this way to see her, so she’d treat him. “We shall,” she agreed, holding his hand as they came out from under the bridge, pastries in hand. “Central Park is really rather pretty.”

Theseus nodded and smiled at her softly. He squeezed her hand gently as they walked along. He took a bit of the pastry as well and grinned. “This is amazing as ever.”

She returned the kiss, her hands moving to push off his own jacket. She pulled back enough to meet his gaze and repeated his own words from earlier, “Only for you.” And then her lips were back at his, arms back around him, pulling herself closer to him.

Theseus grinned at her. He let his hands move underneath her blouse as he kissed her deeply. He knew that they had a kind of dynamic that meant neither of them was more dominant than the other. Which he liked.
