Managed to snag more magazines and a black bastards cd from doom himself… (Union used to sell his CDs back in the day). My friend tried buying his records… he wouldn’t sell him any Marvin Gaye lol

Got more mags after losing his contact after a year… somehow managed to find him on instagram…

spent some of the day talking to this old head about his life and bought some good magazines off of him for cheap. i will be buying way more because his collection was insane. he worked at a design agency as a creative director (didn’t ask but based off his age i assume it was from the late 80s - early 2000s). told me about a lot of things and showed me so much old stuff. felt like a museum. i feel like nowadays (with everything being so saturated) it’s hard to find genuine moments like this. someone probably would’ve bought all his magazines and sold it online for a profit.
