Brow twitching at the sudden sorry’s, Ray clasped his hands together and was about to speak up until he heard the subtle sound of a sniff. Just moments later and the woman next to him had gotten up– a tense feeling settling within the air as they both remained silent after her excuse. “I just said to stop being a downer.” He sighs.

“We just recently ate dinner and the dishes are done. Laundry was finished this morning and beds are made.” Not to mention the fact that the place had been dusted just days ago and he wasn’t allowed to do much of it– mostly the high to reach places. “If you are just avoiding the topic, it’ll only make it worse and harder later. Just tell me why you are so bent up about this.” It had to of been more than her caring habits, right? Ray had figured it was just that hero mentality of wanting to help people. A heroes guilt if they failed at their job, yet he didn’t understand any of it– the kid was at least standing and breathing, wasn’t he? What else could she of wanted?

She bit her lip when he listed that all the chores were done, turning her gaze to the ground as she wrung her hands together. He was right and she didn’t like it. She sighed heavily and sat down on her side of the couch, propping her elbow on the armrest before resting her head in her hand, “I....”

She didn’t quite know how to word what she was feeling, so she was silent for a moment as she tried to gather her thoughts. She sighed once more as she rubbed her forehead, “It’s just that... I wanted to keep you safe from harm.. To show you just how good life could be...” She slid her fingers into her hair as she closed her eye, “I had gone through some terrible things when I was a kid.. I lost my parents in a horrible way.. The man that adopted me helped me see that things weren’t going to always be so doom and gloom and I guess I wanted to do the same for you..”

She rubbed her head again and opened her eye to stare at her lap, slightly gripping a handful of her hair, “I know you aren’t as upset about it, but I can’t help but think that I could’ve done better.. Protected you properly..”

It was a minute or two before the door opened, revealing Tazz who blinked curiously at him. When she realized who it was, she tilted her head and shifted her weight to one foot, “Bakugo? Is there anything I can help you with?” She opened the door wider and stepped aside to let him in, a bit worried at his arrival.

Bakugo took a deep breath before he knocked on her door. Showing up a bit unexpected but he needed someone to talk to that might understand what he was going though. “Please be home…. please be home..” The werewolf would fidget a bit. @hxllhxxnd

She jumped when she felt large arms circling around her from behind, a small squeak escaping her lips as her cheeks reddened. She was about to turn her head to see who was behind her when she froze at feeling her ear being nibbled, the move making her face turn completely red as she shuddered, “E-Eh?? W-What are you..” One of her weaknesses was being exploited by a powerful foe. This attack truly was deadly.

Her face had reddened when she heard and felt her stomach rumble, automatically lifting her hands to cover her belly as if hiding the fact that she was hungry. Her nose twitched when she smelled something and she looked up, immediately catching the granola bar that was thrown to her with quick reflexes. She looked over and blushed when she saw that it was Endeavor that had thrown it and she gave a grateful nod before she began eating, acting as if it was the tastiest things she’s ever eaten.
