I was experimenting with a ton of foliage solutions, and came up with this artsy-looking one. It appears to have volume and density, but is actually pretty low-poly!

Don’t give up. You can only accomplish the impossible if you refuse to believe in impossible. We can do the impossible. We can. We just need to stay just angry enough to act, and just optimistic enough to believe there’s any point.

I feel like the line between “fluffy uwu self care” and “get your shit together self care” is thinner than people seem to think. Like, sitting in a quiet space with a book and maybe some twinkly fairy lights gives me the spoons to go call my damn doctor like I’ve been meaning to. Bath bombs or shower steamers make me feel content and/or sparkly, which gives me confidence to go out in public. (Plus, I bathed.) I dye my hair funky colors so if I feel like people are staring at me I can say it’s at that instead of whatever my anxiety wants it to be. 

The two are not mutually exclusive, is what I’m getting at, and I never see that mentioned, just either “self care is being nice to yourself” or “self care is kicking yourself in the ass to function for a few hours”. Kick yourself in the ass with niceness.

Realized I should actually start sharing things I've worked on wowie--

This is our team's game from Minor Production, Candie! I had so much fun working on it, everyone was spectacular and had such great ideas and execution! Here's some of the things I did to contribute:

Concepted, modeled, and created custom texture for the Rolo enemy (happy chunky boi spilling his guts, yay!) Also applied rig and animation as handed down to me from another teammate.

Created the design for the candy cane interface button.

Concepted, modeled, and textured the escape hatch required to complete the level (not seen in this preview).

Concepted, modeled and textured the gummy bear shopkeep (not seen in this preview).

Concepted, modeled and textured lollipop assets.

Provided good ol' moral support!
