I think it’d be rlly silly if very few people can tell when Shedletsky’s regressed because he exudes whimsy either big or small so it ends up being a guessing game.

There are signs to it tho like when he gets a little sniffly when he’s at low hp or when he starts giggling when he stuns the killer (not an ask I just wanna ramble :3)

i don't have a lot to say since im literally exhausted from school but yes. 😢😢 i think he's a little bit more whiny when he's regressed, but otherwise he's just as expressive and energetic as when he's big. only people that r really close to him (like brighteyes, builderman, dusekkar etc) can tell when he's actually regressed

the other survivors see him start to sniffle when he's at low hp and they feel bad and help him but they don't think he's regressed, meanwhile builderman is fully prepared to take care of his baby :-)

age regressor taph headcanons

ty for requesting! this is a bit shorter but school is beginning again and ive been balancing that and dogsitting.. however, the quantity won't change the quality of my work. hope you enjoy!

- I view Taph's age range when regressed as younger, in the baby range, between 1-3. (I think he's the littlest guy ever when regressed sorry!!!!)

- He's more nonverbal when regressed to 1, usually just making noises to communicate his feelings. Meanwhile, when he's regressed to 3, he either uses sign language or just speaks normally. (in emojis, of course :D). 2 is just either or, depending on how he's feeling.

- He's okay with people being around him when he's regressed. He doesn't have much of a strong opinion on it, however, he doesn't know a lot of the survivors well enough to trust them when he's little, so he mostly just regresses around Dusekkar.

- I personally believe that Taph gets cold very easily.. (how could a person run around in robes and not get hot?), so when he's little, he likes to wrap himself in a bunch of blankets and surround himself with pillows.

- Always brings his caregiver trinkets that he found somewhere, it can be little gems or interesting looking twigs, he absolutely loves when they praise him for bringing them things, he always feels so happy and warm afterwards. :-)

- Literally the most curious little ever.. Taph will follow people around the cabin like a little duckling and peak over their shoulder, asking questions about what they're doing, it can be the most boring task too, like washing the dishes or folding clothes. He just wants to know about everything!

- Really likes going outdoors, I think. Taph just enjoys taking little walks (with supervision, of course!) around the cabin, the scenery is nice to him, and it calms him down when he's feeling a bit stressed.

- (This is somewhat related to my previous headcanons LOL), I think Taph really enjoys nudging his head against Dusekkar when little.. I mean, Taph is literally always cold and Dusekkar is a warm pumpkin! It perfectly makes sense.

Oh I read a fic with a regressed Shedletsky and cg Brighteyes and it was soooo cute! !!!!! Thoughts on that hc? (Again not a req, I just have the Shedletsky family on my mind)

i read the fic you're talking about! i love it, i reread it like all the time... i love regressor shedletsky we need more of that me thinks.

I think when Shedletsky was known as Telamon, he stress regressed a lot. It was almost always involuntarily. On the other hand, (let's say this is post-saken or something..), regression is kind of a hobby for him.

And of course, Brighteyes has been there for him since the beginning. She was one of the first people who found out he was a regressor, after all.

Brighteyes encourages creativity when he's regressed. She always loves to draw or craft with him, she thinks his art is really cute.

Shedletsky definitely calls Brighteyes 'mama' when he's regressed. I just know it.

Shedletsky is kind of whiny when he's regressed, he's always pouting about something. Luckily, Brighteyes knows how to make him feel better every single time. (She's not necessarily a pushover, but she's not exactly strict either.)

(Maybe inspired off the fic, tehee..) Brighteyes picks up on the smallest details about him all the time, it's difficult for Shedletsky to hide his feelings ever. He clears his throat? She already knows he's sick. He's a little quieter? She knows his regressing.

NOTE: someone request little shedletsky headcanons when my requests are open so i can write more for him. ohhh shedletsky i love you. 🙏

also is this like... mini headcanons or whatever? i think illstart doing this for asks i particularly like. :-)
