What games would TWST characters play?

Riddle:

He wouldn't be much of a gamer. He only plays puzzle games such as Sudoku or Picross. When he was a kid, Chen'ya let him play a mario game on his console and he really liked it but never got to play anything remotely similar after that.

(If he had a normal childhood he would be a big star stable fan trust)

Ace:

He watched his brother play games when he was growing up. Had a console and played games like LittleBigPlanet, Mortal kombat, Minecraft with him.

When he was like 12 he got really into bedwars and used to play on a pirated copy of miecraft on PC everyday. He also watched his brother play shooters like Modern Warfare and heard him insult bad teammates (so now he does the same, even though most of the time it's not their fault). Has an xbox and still plays sports games on it sometimes.

Deuce:

As an only child he had an old laptop that could run basic games. He mainly watched people play and had few games like "Scooby-Doo! And the Spooky Swamp" (he got it for his birthday).

When he came to NRC, others introduced him to various games and he got really competitive about Mortal Kombat with Ace (their score is 162 - 139 for Ace right now)

Cater:

Okay so for him it's one of 2 things. Either he's one of those cozy gamers who own a handheld console with cute case and makes videos with game recommendations. He would play games like animal crossing, spiritfarer, stardew Valley, and Pokémon games.

I also imagine he would be a Nintendo FREAK. I'm talking like this man can recite every Mario game in chronological order. Cried in happiness when he found out that they're making a new tomodachi life game, like when they announced it on Nintendo direct the ENTIRE dorm heard his screams.

I feel like his sisters probably got him into these cozy games and they probably had like an entire collection of these games 'for girls' when they were growing up (you know…the ones that had themes of dressing up, cooking or pets and were made very poorly because devs knew girlies had no other games made for them).

Or….

I can also imagine that he's that kind of person that gets sucked into those shitty mobile games that he sees in ads and then plays it for a week before forgetting about it and downloading new one.

I can imagine he's a huge fan of something like AFK arena and has a massive level and paid lotsa money for 'meta' characters.

OMG ALSO I JUST THOUGHT OF THIS HE WOULD FREAKING LOVE INFINITY NIKKI AND HE WOULD GET SO INVESTED IN THE DRAMA AROUND IT

Trey:

When he was a kid he used to play a lot of mobile games such as angry birds, fruit ninja etc. Him and Chen'ya used to play these games together sometimes too.

Nowadays he only plays like one specific military RTS(real time strategy) game that's he's just INSANELY good at, like people do NOT expect it since he never talks about it, but he knows this one game so well and has gotten so good at it. I'm tempted to say hearts of iron IV tbh (yada yada i know HOI isn't technically an RTS but it fits!!)…just imagine Twisted wonderland equivalent of that game. Trey excusing himself by saying "sorry guys I gotta go, I really wanted to play as Sunset Savana and go invade briar valley…there's an achievement for that."

Also I imagine his younger siblings are iPad kiddos which means he knows all about the games that kids play these days. The weird Roblox horror games, Fortnite, brawl stars etc.

Leona:

He never played any video games growing up, his only contact with them is through Cheka who forces him to play Roblox games with him. He gets really mad when he loses and gets embarrassed that Cheka is better than him. He also makes fun of Ruggie for "Having the same hobby as his 5 years old nephew".

Jack:

Sports games fan! Except he's not a typical one, because he doesn't spend money every year to get another copy of the same stupid spelldrive game that is LITERALLY THE SAME except it has better graphics and new players. He just has few games for different sports he likes and plays with some other Savanaclaw students sometimes. I can imagine that he likes NFL and Madden a lot (his favourite Madden is Madden 08). He's also a playstation fan. I mean…more like he only had playstation consoles growing up and doesn't see a point in getting anything else since he's already familiar with the UI and has his game library there. He's pretty casual about games.

Ruggie:

He plays Roblox and begs Leona to buy him robux.

Azul:

Another one who loves RTS games. Has a whole library of them. Loves civilization, crusaider kings, age of empires etc.

He also dabbled in games like StarCraft or Heroes of Might and Magic but decided they are too time consuming now (he is waiting for Heroes of Might and magic: Olden era though)

Jade:

Loves games that are about exploration.

He 100% a game about exploring the sea and wrote a review which was like 1000 words long and it was explaining how many inaccuracies about the sea the game has.

Other than that he loves anything where you can freely walk around and look at nature and interact with it: short hike, firewatch, outer wilds, Zelda BOTW, Witcher 3 etc.

He literally has a blog where he does reviews of water in games like he literally takes screenshots of water and goes "nice looking water" "amazing water" "amazing looking water in this game". The blog became a well known meme and people think he's joking but he really just enjoys the water in video games :(

Floyd:

He plays mobile games only. Kind of similar to Cater, installs shitty mobile games and gets bored after opening them once.

I also imagine he plays gacha games and develops a gambling addiction.

Kalim:

He plays a lot of different gacha games and spends HORRENDOUS amount of money on them. And it's not even like to be super good he just wants to collect pretty characters with pretty weapons and so what if this money that he paid for it could feed a whole family for a month?

And I also think he would be pretty bad at games. Like his builds would be weak and he would be mechanically bad but that doesn't stop him from having SO MUCH FUN!

He also nags Jamil to make an account so they can play together and if Jamil agrees, after a week Jamil just carries Kalim so hard, even though he only has the free to play characters and weapons :skull emoji:

Jamil:

I imagine he only really plays NBA games occasionally (and those silly gacha games whenever Kalim begs him)

I think he would be reaaally good at video games but he's just too busy and isn't all that interested in them.

Vil:

He plays dress to Impress with his baddies (Rook and Epel).

He always insults the other players (not in chat but to rook and Epel) and complains if he doesn't get 1st place. He also has like really high level in moviestarplanet. He literally was in the leaderboards and he had the best outfits. People would gift him really rare clothes if he put them on his close friends on his profile.

Epel:

He plays lots of video games! He has a switch console and plays cozy games, but what he REALLY likes are rhythm games and idol games (He's definitely an enstarrie, produces for R*bits and knights). Also likes Roblox and Brawl Stars. He rages so much in Brawl Stars !!! Also plays few gacha games and has like really high lvl accounts. Kingdom hearts fan !!!!

Rook:

Only plays games with Vil really.

Idia:

I don't think I can say anything that isn't canon tbh. I mean he's a canonical gamer what can I say…

I think thoooo…he would be the kind of guy that plays mostly the online multiplayer games and rage at his teammates.

He would also play MMORPGS like final fantasy XIV or neverwinter (That's where he met Lillia)

And dating sims!!! Literally collects physical copies of these games and buys the figurines.

Ortho:

Has insane knowledge about video games because Idia programmed it. He rarely plays them though, only when Idia needs a player 2 to complete a quest or when someone occasionally asks him to play.

Malleus:

Does not understand video games. Lillia has tried to teach him but he could not grasp the controller controls.

Lillia

OKAY so…he freaking loves video games! (duh)

He plays so many genres except military shooters because he lived through that shit irl. He not only plays games but also closely follows news about new releases and is a literal gamdle expert. He's a person in every livestream going "When Silksong" EVEN the non gaming live streams like political debates.

He likes platformers a lot and has taught Silver and Sebek when they were young the ropes of different games so they can farm easy bosses while he's busy.

Has many online friends (Like Idia and Epel) and often plays games with them.

Silver:

Has pretty much only played games that Lillia introduced him too EXCEPT he really likes Pokémon games!!! Has played all of them (He never even emulated, Lillia got him all the consoles and games). He's one of the reasons Game Freak doesn't gaf about the quality of their games because he's gonna buy a new title no matter how bad it is.

Sebek:

Again, only played games that Lillia introduced him too.
