Finally it’s DONE!! 🎉 This is my first animatic, my first time using Alight Motion, and my first time drawing Starscream (so it’s a triple first).

It’s based on the amazing fic “Everything  is Alright” by @revelboo (seriously, go read their stuff 👀 their stories are so good).

Starscream: So basically, there’s a war going on, cybertron is dead, we are stuck on earth with very limited resources and no way home and also I joined the military:D

Ok, so I have like a theory that Optimus and Starscream were actually gonna get together in the g1 cartoon, like SS was originally gonna be a girl, but the creators changed it because they thought that boys would be uninterested if there were girl transformers, and I saw somewhere that Starscream was going to originally switch to the Autobots but then that plan was also scrapped. (that's why he has autobot colors)

not that I necessarily ship them, but HOW is starop not more popular?? Like I think that it would make sense because Starscream may act tough, but it's because deep down, he really wants safety. It's what he craves, it's what he NEEDS. `And Optimus would absolutely love to provide that safety for him, because he can finally fix some damage that Megatron has inflicted on them all throughout this war.

I just think that they would fill parts of each other that need to be filled in together.

plus, I think that sense Megatron essentially saw Starscream as a replacement for Optimus, someone that he could control and whatnot, despite Orion and Starscream having completely different personalities. But Optimus would see him as an individual

And because Starscream clearly needs some therapy, really just someone to listen to him and hug him. Optimus is just a gentle, calming presence that he could use.

I can't imagine the face ratchet made and the words he said when he found out starscream not only sparked Skyfire but also Optimus at the same time.

First of all, my GF said to thank you for the question.

I love drawing Ratchet furious like a "classic mother with a slipper" (mamy con ciabatta very italiano), and Optimus too embarassed\fearful to tell his closest friend and medic that he's sparkled. Also Skyfire would much be "No, is the medic that saves me and I have such high respect of him and-"

Also GF said that Optimus and Skyfire would go before to Knockout ( wich already defected 'Cons) bc they were too much scared to ask Ratchet for the pregnancy confirmation.

TFP StarOp Amnesia Arc - Set when Optimus loses his memories and is taken back to the Deceptions by Megatron - AU / Fanfic Idea:

Optimus feels a strange familiarity around Starscream when he sees Starscream that Megatron can’t explain or hide. To use this, Megatron orders Starscream to pretend to be Orion’s conjunx endura to help keep him loyal to the Decepticons and ensure a deeper tie to them. Orion’s amnesia explains why he doesn’t remember their relationship.

Starscream was chosen not just because of that familiarity, but also because, back when Megatron and Optimus were friends- (and even now lol) Optimus has always been attracted to Seekers. And Starscream is “just his type.”

So Starscream is made to play the role of caring partner, and Orion, confused and lost, starts to believe and fall in love with him. But Starscream ends up actually caring too, and the guilt builds as the Autobots try to get Optimus back. It’s a slow-burn, fake relationship full of attraction, guilt, and emotional tension.

obsessed with starscream and optimus' size difference in tfp. optimus, tall, broad shouldered, and built for power, vs starscream, shorter, slender, and built for grace and elegance... they fit so perfectly together you don't understand

i generally kind of love the idea of autobots being more "free love" than the decepticons, more interested in casual, friendly 'facing, while the decepticons keep it confined to potential romantic partners ONLY. and with that being said, i think it would be kind of a funny culture shock for a starscream who defected, and just walks into a room sometimes to see others just Making Out sometimes. bewilders him and also geeatly flusters him, because he does secretly want to be loved like that, not even romantically, just loved at all. all this to say that i think starscream should get to make out w some of the autobots for funsies. he deserves the love

i've never thought about free love autobots, but i'm digging this concept! it kinda makes sense that they'd be a bit more flexible and polyamorous since they're all about peace and love and all that.

and oh man, starscream wanting some of that love... he walks in on jazz, op, and ironhide getting a little frisky together, and he's shocked at first, but then bitter because he's not getting any of that. he sees all of this love around him, and it only makes him feel more alone... someone should help him feel a little more included. wink wonk.

post-war starscream finally able to live comfortably with easy access to all the energon he could ever want, drinking his fill every chance he gets until his tanks ache and his frame starts softening up all over

hnnnngh, the thought of starscream getting softer after the war is both sweet and hot to me, especially if we're talking about the twig that is tfp starscream. now that he doesn't have to worry about starvation, he lets himself indulge, but it takes a while for him to see the effects. his thighs have gotten softer, his hips are a bit wider, and he's now got the cutest chubby tummy... he's not the same starving bot who prowled around the nemesis, and he takes a bit of comfort in that.
