Following that first fanart you now have Captain Kuchiki coming to bitch gossip with Ukitake after his retirement (because he didn’t die he just retired, get on board duh)

The painting on face got harder since Byakuya can’t really climb on Jushiro’s laps anymore, so instead he focuses on the forearms or hands. It’s still a soothing moment for both men, where they can relax and talk to each other without interruption.

The wonderful @dameofnodelicacy has already written a snippet out of the first part of this headcanon, but if you want to read it, you might need to send a few asks!
