Saturday afternoon at the park with my daughter, tons of photos and tons of fun. She can go to the high slides by herself, but just the spiral one she's comfortable with, the other one is to bumpy. This photo she was sliding down. You can see she's coming but just the one shoe creates some kind of stress. Taken with iPhone 15PM

Last day of the year it was. Spent a few hrs at the park after a morning rain. Bit cold but never been an issue at the park. The light was gorgeous. My kind of jam w cloudy grays and such, at least in the beginning. The sun then came out and made things interesting. Were not aware of the rainbow, like at all. Would've taken tons of Pics, but nah, saw it first when looking at the photos, got a couple with it on it. This is another iphone 15 shot

Was a regular fall weekend, dry, which is unconventional but appretiated. Went for a walk around the block to get out of the house, not sure if we were looking for halloween decorations or just walking around, but every single pile of leaves we had to crash. Some were wet and gross but didn't matter. Was also testing the Fjorden grip on the, then new, iphone15.

This house has all the character, well, had... Never knew if somebody lived in there but it is now gone. Not surprised, last couple of years its been at least one or 2 houses per block being knocked down and renovated. As always, took the photo because it was an interesting framing with the trees. The bird standing on the chimney and the plane flying by were serendipitous. Photo was taken with iphone while walking.

Ever since moving to the pacific north west, its been a thing that snows at least once a year. Not too long, usually. Snows heavy over a night, and 2 days later the rain washes everything away. Sometimes it lasts a bit longer, and some years, once every while, there's snow on the ground for weeks at a time. Not this season, this season 2023, its been pretty mellow and warm. Then suddenly one morning temperature starts dropping, by night time reaches -10 and snowmaggedon starts. Its pretty cool but that's because we don't rely on driving for the day to day. I feel sorry for whomever does and has to deal with the snow driving. Particularly in this town. Problem is, on cities that winters are constant, say the Atlantic coast, people gets used to driving in the snow. When those conditions are few and far apart, there's no learning, its all chaos. The day of the snow, on the way to pick up my daughter, saw a person walking with the pink umbrella. After realizing the photo opportunity, almost ran to get behind, didn't tho, would be creepy, but did started this kind of power walk to get closer. Mostly for the ability to stop and frame the photo without loosing the figure in the distance. This shot came out.

This was on a walk to get food on a Sunday evening. A few weeks prior saw this frame (on a similar walk) as walking by thought bout stopping to get the photo. Had both hands busy with bags from the store so didn't end up taking the photo. Not this time tho. On the way to the store stopped by to take some photos, but a person started yelling and wasn't sure if was to me or not, but got intimidated and continued with the journey. On the way back had the phone ready and as was getting closer started framing and taking practice shots. Then noticed the walker and tried to time it to get this walking pose in the middle of the stairs.. Theres plenty of other similar photos, pretty much the sequence of the walker from side to side (and at some point a car shows up). Taken with iPhone as usual.

This photo was taken from inside a car. Was not driving, it was the back of an uber on my way to watch a football game, kept phone out along the way battling the camera focus and struggling to get it steady. It was all part of the experiment. Annoying how the camera app won't let you do manual focus, always have to go to Halide for that, don't know any other camera with that functionality. The photo was on a sketchy area but the rainy car window cleans it up a bit. Its also very tricky

Wet winter. Not many photo opportunities days like these, the car was actually parked. both, the one photographed and the one where it was photographed.

Christmases with young children. Weren’t expecting everything perfect and somehow planned for it, but this one slip. What I mean is all the good fragile ornaments go on top, out of reach, while the other cheaper stronger/plastic ornaments on the bottom. The lesson learned is that you might as well don’t put any on the bottom as they will be removed and relocated, with some luck they will be relocated within the tree, but might show up somewhere else. This was a bummer cause was a very nice ornament, but will be replaced and memories were made.

This was by all means serendipitous. A mistake, flat out. Wasn’t even trying to take the photo, grabbed the phone in a way that hit the button to open app and take bunch of photos. This kind of light trails is what i need to find a way to reproduce with other apps. Reheld is good for water and people, it really removes everything, doesn’t do light lines like this. And these are sharp. Its also interesting the rotation of the phone… I was on the way to pick up my daughter, was late so walking faster than usual. Had taken the phone out for a photo of the intersection which i didn’t do and the phone didn’t make it back to the pocket and this happened.

This fall has been pretty mellow, to be fair the summer was pretty mellow too. Few heatwaves but nothing wild. In contrast with 2 years ago that holly crap how hot was that. Back to the current season. Lately last few years this deep into the fall we’d already been snowed a couple of times and gone crazy cold. This year its been all rain, coldest has been 3ish and the fog has been abundant. We’ve had stretches of 3, 4 days of nonstop fog, during the day it fades a bit, but not completely and comes the night time it pops right back. This photo was on a walk to the store to buy milk. Walked to the middle of the lane to center this, had to dodge a few signs and go tight to remove distractions. Its using the 5x lens of the iphone. Wasn’t the only photo, took bout 3 of that angle and a few others towards the store (that is looking away). The top of the image im not a fan, the light is too bright and makes the wires distracting with the glare.

Down the lane. This was a random walk with my daughter, I don’t recall if it was pushing the stroller or just walking. Makes a difference. Wasn’t trying to get him, actually got a few shots of the lane, the dude walked right in and that was the nicer shot. Adds to it, I think. What im not sure is about the crow standing in the middle there by the first speed bump.

This is a pretty mediocre photo. Poorly lit moon and a bunch of cables across. But there’s merit to it being posted. Its a moonshot shot of the moo handholding the phone and wait on a foggy night…
It makes no sense in my head, but it is. Walking back home saw the radiant full moon and took a couple of shots, all of them i thought were going to be blury or useless. So when i got home, got the tripod and headed back to the cold to setup and take a proper photo. Got the tripod setup, started shooting, tried few apps again for more control. I think i panicd and didn’t gave the camera apps a fair chance went to halaide and used that.
On the way back inside, watching all the photos for the first time found this sharpness gem. Turns out this was handheld with camera app. None of the tripod shots were anywhere close to this sharp.
And ill say it again, this is a shitty photo in the general sense. The achievement really is within iphone photos.
Perhaps they’re doing like samsung and just copy pasting a nice photo on top of my shitty moon.

This photo came about because of a tragedy. This is a back lane, not supposed to have that amount of traffic, but unfortunately a lady got hit on the main road (half a block north) and the traffic was being redirected to the road half a block south, all these geniuses thought that going thru the lane was going to give them some sort of edge, but the reality was that the lane was also closed on the other end and they ended going nowhere. Took the photo without looking, had the phone on my hand and my daughter’s hand on the other. Fall sunsets are short, sweet and explosive. During the summer they’re nice and long, but very late. This was pre-dinner.

This was an early fall day. Summer weather was long gone, as perhaps the photo gave away. Decided i’d be a fun thing to go outside and play in the rain. Boy was that naive. The plan was to jump on some puddles, run around, perhaps kick a ball. But things went off the hook very early. Had to avoid a tantrum by setting up the swing, muddy slide, basketball, painting and wet chalk drawing as pictured.
It was fun, but my lets do 20 minutes of fun in the rain, turned into 5 minutes of fun in the rain, 15 minutes of ‘no, lets do this instead’ and 45 minutes of ‘lets go back inside’.

Waiting to take off from LAX on our way back. We went to Disney for a couple of days. Were nervous bout travelling with our munchkin but it worked out. The way there was chill and uneventful, but seems like we were running out of steam on the way back. It was also a bit later, so who knows if that has to do anything but ya. Wild and demanding. By takeoff it was all good, the landing was the tough. This was taken while waiting, i assume for the plane landing right beside us. Everything was ready and pilots gave the 'we're going' signal. When taking this i didn't really saw the airplane thru the window, i wanted to take the silouete and the window shape. Which kinda worked out i think. The jet thru the window was the cherry on top. Its a bit edited but nothing much outside of the desaturation, contrast and shadows.

This is right outside of a house that appears to be some sort of child care. Its pretty cool, looks nice and its pretty new, that thing next year who knows how’s going to look, but is pristine now. Not quite sure as didn’t go that close, but sure hope whoever made this drilled a hole in the bottom or that’s going to be the epicenter of diseases. Was taken with phone and you can tell, the bokeh looks decent, but with the cheap tricks. the rope is basically at the same depth but the top goes blury and then higher up is sharp again. This day was walking with my daugher, on the way back home saw the swing as we were crossing the street and like billy the kid, one grab, action button to turn on camera as i pull phone of pocket, aim as i walk and fire… There were like 4 or 5 but this was the nicer composition.
