Decent behavior isn't a bargaining chip!

Don't accept that from boyfriends and husbands, it's disrespectful!

Today I was chatting with a man and he told me he'd been married for five years, talking about his marriage, he said, "She's wonderful to me, as she should, right?"

I asked him why should she, and he said "Because I'm faithful. It's not any man out there that's gonna be faithful, so if the woman finds a faithful man she has to treat him really well, where is she gonna find another?"

This is wrong! Being decent isn't a bargaining chip! It's an obligation of any human being! So now the woman has to treat him better, just because he's faithful?

People, notice the asshole hiding behind those words!

Men are always negotiating their behavior with women. That's not acceptable!

When they cheat, they say "Oh, I cheated because she doesn't satisfy me in bed." And when they don't, they say "Oh, I'm faithful, I deserve better treatment."

What the hell is that? They're in a relationship because they want to, no one forced them, therefore it's their duty to have an ethical and correct behavior.

Don't accept this kind of exchange, don't bargain with men! Decency isn't negotiable. Understand this, decency isn't negotiable!

Don't beg for love! Don't accept "offerings" of behavior!

Men have to respect women. Period. This isn't on sale and doesn't accept credit cards, it has to be decent! Enough of this male assholery, thinking they can always negotiate their behavior with women.

Don't accept it! Fidelity is basic respect, it's not a Christmas gift!

Enough of this shit! Men have to realize that they're dealing with another human being, not with a doll! They have to be respectful! And if you don't want to be faithful, don't commit to a relationship!

And you, women, don't accept these arguments, don't negotiate their behavior. Enough.

I believe in freedom.

The women who want to live in the pink world are in their own right. But there's others who don't want that for themselves.

And the people who don't feel like talking about female socialization and its hurdles would do best by ignoring this page altogether.

I won't change the subject, or soften the blows. I'll keep saying that women being nice and servile is the product of a cruel socialization process, not of a generous heart.
