Just like during Crisis Clark said he was struggling with the idea of feeling foolish for thinking he could have it all with Lois, and Kara said “I get it, I’ve been thinking the same thing lately” right after losing and missing Lena and regretting her mistakes towards her.

Just like Kara compared and brought up Lena when debating pursuing a romantic relationship with William.

Just like it seems Lena works with a gay alien who lost his husband, in order to save Kara whom is “someone [she] loves” according to that audition tape.

I understand why kara is always protrayed as the strong one (shes supergirl shh dont tell 😶) but Id love to sometimes see lena as physically strong as well. I can picture her lifting something really heavy unexpectedy infront of kara and kara is all 🥴

I am reading empire of storms and it just hit me that valgs needed witches for reproduction because they were capable of endure the process but WTF was dorian's mother(?, she had TWO sons with a valg prince!!! And she was human(? What if that is the reason dorian's brother is so.....

I love Queen of shadows finale. I don't know but I think it was poetic when Aelin, Dorian and Chaol were unconscious after Dorian destroyed the glass Palace. The three are the beginning of this amazing saga and in that moment for me it was like a symbolism that whoever they were before is officially not longer, the people we inicially read are gone. It felt like a little pause, everyone was waiting for them, and when they woke up, Dorian was a King with Chaol as a Lord and his hand and Aelin was a queen with a court that believe and fights for her.

Honestly same, I felt incredible uncomfortable while watching -mostly in the sex scene- I think they raped that man. Script could be a lot better and bring Steve back in other ways (I was thinking about using a dead body like from a person who recently died but I beat there are most creative ways). That was my least fav part of the movie.

WW84- Uncomfortable with everything about Steve Trevor.

Ok, look, so I was pretty drunk when I watched WW84 (too much rum and eggnog, oops) and a LOT of people are posting about all of the…not….good….racial stuff happening in the movie. And that is a very important conversation and think it deserves some very real critique. But the thing that struck me the most as I was actively watching it? Was how….bad and uncomfortable EVERYTHING with Steve Trevor was. 

Like, ok, first of all, you want me to believe that Diana has been pining after this man for 60 years? SIXTY YEARS? Over literally the first dude she met? The world is full of awesome incredible beautiful interesting people, and you’re telling me in 60 years Diana didn’t let herself enjoy the company of any other person because of a dude she knew for like a week?  Not believable. Absolutely not.

Secondly, I was just super uncomfortable the entire time that we established that Steve was just like…legit possessing the body of some guy. Some man, with a life and friends and a job- just becomes a meat puppet for Steve Trevor’s….ghost soul? And we’re supposed to be OK with that? We aren’t going to question the ethics of this at all? 

Like…. Diana….this RANDOM MAN who is being possessed by your dead boyfriend did not consent to all this sex you’re having with his body, this can absolutely be argued is rape, why did we even bother establishing this???? I would not have questioned the magic rock just giving Steve Trevor a new body, but instead we intentionally made is really fucking weird and ethically dubious (CRIMINAL? I’m going to say ethically CRIMINAL) and I don’t understand why. WHY DID STEVE NEED TO BE POSSESSING A RANDOM MAN’S BODY? I am NOT ok with it. 

Like, the first 20 minutes of the movie that is just Diana being flirty and cute with Barbara was delightful and I enjoyed it and then Steve shows up and I just never recovered.

play fighting, but fleetfoot is so much smaller than abraxos that the wyvern would let him win and be very gentle with him

evangeline loves fleetfoot, and looks up to manon and the crochan witches so she’ll be there too

I understand it but at the same time is so fucked up that sjm wrote the whole situation like that. Nehemia was one of the few poc main characters of the books, she was this strong princess I admired and not only her death was used to make celaena -a white character- take action but she literally comited suicide bc that was the only way she could save her people. That sends an awful message.
