Ateez's Full Storyline Explained - Part 14

Masterlist

Guerrilla (Z-World)

We're kicking things off on the rooftop of what seems to be the central hub transmitting government propaganda across Strictland

The background shows a skyline of the city center and a sky covered in government surveillance blimps

In the next clips, we already find out Ateez have disguised themselves as the employees hired to work on the rooftop transmitter which allows them to freely navigate the building and hijack the transmission frequency

Note the Cromer logo on Hongjoong's shirt

After taking off the mask, Hongjoong jogs to the right before the screen glitches red and he disappears - he used the Cromer to teleport (a power that will get further highlighted during the World Ep Fin Diary Entries)

As the song kicks in, the lyrics immediately let us know how aware they are this is their one shot at making a massive difference ("One chance right now at this time")

We see their performance being transmitted into workplaces and schools without windows, drawing in the people's full attention as the music calls for a new world after such a long time of boring routine

We see shots of Yeosang in the back of a van, seemingly in charge of their makeshift control room, followed by Yunho placing a call, Seonghwa stepping out of an elevator and San playing his role as a decoy by distracting the guards

They transmit written messages, spelling "Wake up, world", "Are you seeing this?", "Up in the sky" and perform live from an old radio station recording booth, as well as outside of the back of their control room van

We've got them throwing flyers out the back of the van, and Yeosang and Wooyoung infiltrating the building to further spread their transmission

The streets are empty, the main channels fully hijacked and the building’s now under their control, leaving them free to perform on the rooftop

Side-Note: I'm just putting this here because it's an iconic shot

They've now spread their logo and flags everywhere, including spray painting it on the government blimps which rain down their flyers

Toward the end, we also get to see flashes of the Black Pirates, performing the same song (now without hats and masks since they're no longer hiding their identity) which shows the collaboration between both groups

We end in the underground hideout with Left Eye where they're alerted about someone entering through the wire fence surrounding the property

It's a kid in a school uniform bearing the emblem of "Prestige Academy"

Here we are! I can't express how beautiful this album is in person. Though I know that lenticulars never look perfect scanned, the cover of the sleeve scanned surprisingly well! The art cards are gorgeous, and are printed on a great cardstock, and the QR card being of Mingi's painting is a beautiful touch! Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
