I have 7 historical dolls, and 5 GOTYs. As much as I love art, I have been too afraid to deconstruct a doll to customize it myself, but what a wonderful hobby I bet it is for some. how about you? Do you have a favorite? when I was a kid I always wanted Samantha and Molly, I did have their book sets though. I was so glad they released them again for the 35th anniversary, I was able to get them then.

Out of curiosity, what does GOTYS stand for? Which doll is your favorite (if you can choose haha)?

I love art aswell and I do wish I trusted myself to customize one. However, on Etsy, they have templates to give your AG a different eyebrow shape, longer lashes, extensions and etc.

Despite the fact that I don't have an American Girl doll yet, Addy and Kaya are my favorites! I have read Abby's book/history aswell. Have you read any of the books?

love the blog! I just started collecting American Girl dolls since 2020, mostly because I have a daughter old enough for them, that's how it started lol but now it's very much a hobby for me too.

Hi there 🤍

Though I do not own one as of yet, I am trying to make some AG adult friends to have virtual (or Inperson if local) meet ups, doll proms (+ weddings, dress up themes, tea parties) and genuinely spend time with.

I am waiting for my AG dolls arrival and I'd love for her and I to have some friends!

Also, I have a reborn baby named Marcekke who is currently in the "womb" (he's getting new hair rooted and a touch up haha!)

This year, I made a promise to myself to take care of the inner child in me and to embrace what that inner child loves - dolls have always been one of the keys to my heart and I'd love to meet other women who share the same passion!
