I beat Cynthia in Platinum first try with a level 57 team! (Her team is 58 to 62) My Glaceon one-shot her Garchomp with Icy Wind which was hype! But then she used three full restores and got two extremely well-timed critical hits and I was about to lose and used a Max Revive on my Giratina. I’m gonna count that as fair and even given how much luck and healing she had lol
