🔥 Surrounded by smoke and fire, I try to cook whatever little I can for my three daughters in Gaza. We no longer have gas or electricity — only this simple fire stove that chokes us with its smoke as we struggle to survive.

🚢 While aid ships sail from Barcelona, we know Israel will block them as it has before. That’s why our only hope is through your direct donations via the link.
🙏 Your donation is not just help — it is life itself for my small family under bombing and hunger.
Please don’t leave us to struggle alone.

The US-backed settler-colonial state of Israel is advancing it's genocidal occupation of Gaza.
The Israeli military is demanding the displacement of all residents of Gaza to the south of the Gaza Strip, which is now a semi-desert area after all means of life were destroyed there. (90% of those currently living in the Gaza Strip were already forcibly displaced from other areas of Palestine, and are now being forcibly displaced again).
The Israeli occupation is now intensifying bombings so that those remaining, who cannot afford displacement, are being forced to flee urgently to the south.
Palestinians in Gaza, including my dear friend Fadel, are in a state of confusion and extreme fear because they are under bombardment and do not have the means to travel and evacuate to the southern Gaza Strip. What are your options when you cannot survive where you are, but you also do not have the funds to survive displacement?
Fadel and his family have calculated the costs of displacement and exit towards the south of the Strip.
The Cost of Displacement:
€1,000 - Tent The price of a tent is very high due to the scarcity of tents and the large number of families purchasing them for displacement. Some families have tents already, but Fadel's family's tent was destroyed earlier this month and they are sleeping on the street.
€1,000 - Transportation Transportation costs to the southern Gaza Strip are high due to the scarcity of fuel in the Gaza Strip.
€600 - Building and purchasing bathroom supplies
€500 / month - Rent The average rent charged for land for the size of the tent and bathroom.
This means that a small family would need between €3,000 and €3,200 to be able to live in this area and begin a semi-normal life, not including the costs of food and medicine, which remain high. He still needs to buy medication each month to treat his chronic illness.
The time to donate to families in the Gaza Strip is right now. This is more urgent by the day. Bombs are falling and everyone is trapped with no way to stay and no way to leave.

If you took the time to respond to this poll, please go and read Nader's story and circulate or donate to his fundraiser here. Anything, even 5$, helps!
Their family is currently trying to raise funds for food, housing, and the incredibly high cost of leaving Gaza once the border opens again. He's been vetted by gazavetters at #4 on their list. Thank you so much for reading -- and remember, anything helps!

Hey y'all -- I'm making this post on behalf of Sami and his family, who are currently suffering in Gaza. You can find their fundraiser here. I think (especially) in a time where people are experiencing so much cruelty, it's our duty as humans living in the world to try to help others the best we can. We've all wished for someone to be there for us in a time of need, and we can be that for other people.
Sami's family has a lot of young children and I ask you to please consider donating if you have the means-- even something small-- or reblogging to circulate their fundraiser. Anything helps! Thank you so, so much for even reading. FUNDRAISER.

You can click this button once a day to help a Palestinian family and support them with a few euros. It only takes 5 seconds and can help save lives, so please take the time to click and share this link. I hope this works and people donate.

A good rule of thumb for AI is "would you trust a trained pigeon to do this?"
"We trained a pigeon to recognise cancerous cell clusters and somehow they're really good at it" okay great, that's something that could plausibly be a thing.
"We trained a pigeon to recognise good CV:s and left it in charge of sorting through all our job applications" uh perhaps consider not doing that.
