Her spirits lifted a little as he said he would visit her from time to time. She held the bunny and nodded. "Nini will be you then! Ah! You have to promise to visit me!" She held her pinky out at him. "Promise?"

"Yes, it's a promise" he said as he returned the pinky promise to her. "All you have to do is just call me, and I will definitely appear right in front of you"

She stopped fanning and held his hand, giving him a smile. "Ichi. It's fine. It's not your fault. I wasn't paying attention anyway. Don't blame yourself alright? You being here with me, I'm really happy." Her smiled faded and she looked away. "Wish you will always be here with me," saying it softly and she released her hand from his.

"Is that so...?" he replied quietly. Upon hearing her words, he smiled sadly. "Yes, I wish I would always be there with you..." he trailed then he perked up a little. "But hey! I may not be by your side at all times, I am always watching over you!" he pointed at Nini. "Nini's proof that I exist, and I can visit you from time to time!"

She looked up at him as she heard his voice. Giving him a soft smile, she shook her head and answered, "it's okay. It's numb now. Thank you." She took the tea from the tray and took a sip without blowing. "Ow! Hot!" She stuck her tongue out and fan it as her face scrunched up.

"Be careful!" he said as she fanned her tongue. "Forgive me, I should have warned you about the hot tea" he said in a low voice, looking down at his hands. "You've been facing a lot of mishaps today, and I feel like a failure because I didn't really made a good effort in protecting you..." he said, his voice barely audible.

She nodded at him happily and followed him to a seat. She sat down and waited as Ichi bring the tea back. She sat Nini down on the table and played with it. Patting the little bunny's head and touching her ears. "Ufufu~ your ears are still so soft like Ichi's!" Stroking it lightly, she looked at the bunny. "Ichi is so adorable right? But he lives in Kuranoa." She sighed softly and looked at the bunny sadly.

"Hmm? What seems to be the matter?" he asked as he place their tea on the table. She looked a bit sad, and he wondered why. "Are you...still in pain?" he asked, peering into her face.

She nodded happily and walked in with him. "Ichi! I want that tea!" She exclaimed as they walked in and started to limp towards the counter. "Can I have that?" She pointed to the green tea on the counter and smiled at the cashier. She turned to Ichi and asked. "What would you like?"

"Hmmm..." he pondered for a while, looking at the menu. "I will have Earl Grey tea, then" he said finally, smiling at her. "But let me bring you to your seat first. I will handle taking our teas by myself. I don't want your ankle to start swollening again" he said worriedly, walking up to her side.

Her eyes blinked at the word tea. "Tea? I love tea!" She jumped out of her chair and fell down. "Ow.. Bad idea," she mumbled to herself and stood up. "Ichi, let's go in first please? It's really cold here." She clung onto his shirt as she tried to stand properly.

"All right, now. Let's get inside" he helped her walk while holding on to her in return. "I'm pleased that you love tea. There are a huge list of them served here" he beamed.

"Really?" She cocked her head to one side and asked. She stretched her hand out to him. "Ichi, I'm cold..," she pouted at him as she hugged Nini closer to her. "Nini's cold too."

"Is that so?" he asked and looked up at her with a smile. "Once I'm done with this, we can go inside and have some hot tea. I glanced at the menu when I asked for an ice pack, and they served a lot of hot drinks!" he grinned. "If you don't like tea, you can drink the coffee, too!"

She cocked her head to one side as his cheeks turned red again. "Shadier? There wasn't even sun just now. Are you sure you are alright? Your cheeks are red," she pointed to him and looked at him worriedly. "Ichi, look at me. Did I do something wrong?" She asked. (Yes. That weight will make me underweight. Haha! But I wanna be 45. T.T)

"It was, until the sky clouded up!" he smiled awkwardly, still averting his gaze. "You didn't do anything wrong. I was just being a bit too conscious....ah!" he stopped himself.

She squirmed a little as the icy cold substance touched her ankle. Slowly, she began to calm down and her ankle doesn't hurt anymore due to the numbness. Thinking about just now, she asked. "Ichi, why did you walk away so fast just now? Did I say something wrong?" (I wish I was 45! T.T)

"E-Eh?" he almost dropped the ice pack from his hand, but managed to catch it before it really hits the ground. He placed the ice pack on her ankle again and averted his gaze. "N-Nothing. Nothing at all! I just wanted to go to a shadier place, since it was hot just now!"

She pouted and nodded. Looking down at her swollen ankle, she held Nini closer to her. When he came back with the ice, she lifted her leg slightly as he placed the ice on it. "OW! Not so hard!" She screamed and retreated her leg. "Ow. Bad idea to move," she sighed. (I do weigh a ton dear! T.T)

"It's okay. Let me do it myself. But endure the pain for me, all right?" he gently placed her foot on his lap and blew on the swollen spot softly. "I'm putting the ice now" he gently said as he took the bag of ice and placed it on her ankle.

As she was picked up, she struggled. "I...ichi! I.. I can walk. P-put me down...," she said as the rain kept falling onto them. Then they reached a small cafe and he sat her down. A sharp pain was felt at her ankle when she tried to stand and cause her to fall back into the chair. "Ow," she looked down and saw her ankle was very much swollen. (Yes. Why are you so strong ichi? I weigh a ton. T.T)

"Don't push yourself!" Ichi said in a stern manner. He crouched down in front of her and inspected her ankle again and let out a small sigh. "It really is a bit swollen. I will go ask the cafe if they have any ice" he said and stood up. "Wait here, okay? I won't be long"

"Huh? Hot?" She looked up at the sky, dark clouds were glooming. "It's going to rain, ichi." She looked down and looked around. Seeing Ichi had walked away so quickly, she started to run after him. "Ichi! Wait up! Hey!" Suddenly, the thunder roared and rain came falling down. "Ichi! Wait! Ichi!! Ah! Ouch!" She slipped on a puddle and fell to the ground.

"Are you all right?" he ran back to her and inspected her ankle. "It seems that your ankle's a bit swollen. I will carry you somewhere" he took her in his arms and carried her in a princess carry. "What's with the sudden rain?" Ichi said in wonder as he ran up to a nearby shop, wanting to find shelter for the both of them.

I-I don't exactly hate being with you...but I also don't really like you that much either...I--

-Gives them both another squeeze them pulls away- “I deeply enjoy being around both of you. There never seems to be a dull moment.” -smiles brightly-

She waited for him to catch up with her before walking. She looked over to him and saw his cheeks still red. She walked right infront of him and asked, "ichi? Are you alright? You seem red." She reached out to touch his cheek. (Tumblr ate my ask again... T.T)

"O-Oh nothing! Everything's fine! Just thinking how hot the weather is today!" Ichi replied, a little too loudly for comfort. He quickened his pace, unconsciously leaving her behind.

No, it truly is an honour. We guardian spirits tend to be ignored or rather, our existence have never been acknowledged, you see. But I don't blame anyone about this. It's quite questionable if you see a walking talking human with animal ears and claiming that they are your guardian spirit. So it is an honour to be deemed special.
