Joe was literally one of the few from last season who stayed working during the bye week, when most players take those days off. And his performance in the games he did play was excellent—even with everything against him: the injury, the team’s slow start, the pressure. Just because he’s not at these workouts doesn’t mean he’s not committed. People forget quickly and make up whatever narrative just to have something to criticize.

Plus, this is the same Joe who has proven year after year that he takes his preparation seriously. If he’s not there right now, he must have his reasons—and when the season starts, like always, he’ll be ready.
