oh yeah the ergonomics are terrible and they look goofy but the pickups do sound super nice

tbf i could just get like. any guitar with minihums and slap some firebird pickups in there to get the same effect

genuinely having my only guitar be a strat for like 2 years has rewired my fucking brain to the point that I have to look at the dumbest shit like here

I play sitting down, here's where a strat's bridge (blue) is compared to where my knee goes (red)

this is good this feels natural, good distance apart and all that

tele's also feel really natural to me cause their bridges are in the same place

generally speaking

same thing with a lot of single cuts like this gretsch

I would consider this like on the edge of familiarity

recently I got the chance to try out a jaguar for the first time, absolutely loved the sound of it and I want one so bad but picking it up and putting it on my lap my first impression was...

"WHY THE FUCK IS THE BRIDGE SO FAR TO THE LEFT"

oh and don't get me started on firebirds

what are we doing here. a harmony h801 has a better bridge placement (yes i know it's cause of who designed it)

then I remembered. the non-reverse firebird exists

Epiphone Thunderbird E1 bass in Vintage Sunburst

Models I'm kind of sure on

Gibson ES-335 in Cherry(??? vintage cherry?? figured?? red?? idk it's like the basic model and they make a lot of em with different names and in different runs of the guitar)

Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst (3 tone I think? also same thing with this as the 335, there's too many different runs of it to narrow down any specifics)

Squier Telecaster in Dakota Red(??) (couldn't find the specific combo of a red Telecaster with a black pickguard and a maple fingerboard so not sure)

Guitars I don't know:

I don't know that Flying V as it's headstock is throwing me the fuck off! it's too pointy looking for a gibson, doesn't have the gibson logo, has this shield thing?? couldn't find anything

no idea what that acoustic-electric I don't do those cause they're all so fuckin similar

ofc since it's all in black and white but what I CAN say is she very much so looks to be a fan of vintage instruments

the main one she's using is this telecaster

with the black guard and maple neck, I'm assuming it's a vintage style telecaster like this American Vintage II Telecaster

tho the body might be a darker color, maybe like a walnut I'm not sure

I am sure of her OTHER one tho kind of

it's a vintage spec Gibson Les Paul with mini humbuckers, probably a gold top like this

the other things i noticed was this Gibson ES-335 (or similar) in the background

This thing, which I suspect is a vintage style Danelectro/Silvertone but I can't confirm that other than a hunch and a "oh this LOOKS LIKE"

something like this maybe?

other than that, nothing confirmed

got a Fender strat like headstock that could be on anything from an actual Stratocaster to a jaguar

and then another Gibson headstock which can be on literally anything Gibson makes

so watched kpop demon hunters a bit ago, it's a really great MOVIE kinda wish the MOVIE was longer tho (I. don't know where i got the idea that it was an episodic series. and. why I didn't look it up.)

ANYWAY

very grainy i know shut up

it does kinda look like a talman acoustic

but to me it doesn't seem offset quite enough, y'know? that and the 6 a side headstock and the lighter colored binding kinda makes me think of one of these uh. fucking things.

Hi I don't have a screenshot at the moment but. If you've seen KPop Demon Hunters: does the guitar that Rumi play in the songwriting scene kind of look like one of those Ibanez Talman bodied acoustics, or could it be something else?
