It's a large, twin engine jet that's shaped like an airliner (the KC-46 is a 767 derivative), and the US Air Force pretty much only flies one plane that fits that description.
They do have some 737 derivatives, but those are smaller and don't have inboard ailerons.

What's this guy?

Seems about right to me.

@identifying-planes-in-posts
Found these guys in my physics book, I think they mostly resemble the F-111?

You can tell by the asymmetric dihedral and the three wing planform.

Ahhh yes. Delita. Very good.

I mean it's not *that* many. There are only around 6 that are modern enough to look like that.

The autopilot control panel looks pretty similar between the different Boeing airliners, but there are some slight differences in the layout between types. After looking at pictures of all of them, the 777 was the closest match.

is the strip light thing true?
This isn't something I've heard of before but it sounds plausible to me. Normally those side lights are a little more hidden and look more like this

I tried looking for the source of the original photo but I couldn't find anything that predates the tweet. That plus some other inconsistencies like the engine nozzles and the layout of the surrounding city (admittedly I'm not super familiar with Paris's layout but it looks different from other photos) leads me to think this is AI.

Imagine this is tfemflightinstructor because its my sideblog
How long have you been flying? Do you have a career in aviation? Are you Also a flight instructor?
hello mutual 👋
I got my PPL in 2016 and then started working on my instrument rating but had to stop before finishing due to a lack of free time and money. I haven't actually flown since 2019, but I'm planning to start again soon™.
For aviation jobs I've worked as both a ramp agent and an airport weather observer, but I'm currently unemployed.
My goal is to be a professional pilot and that may or may not involve being a flight instructor at some point along the way.

Hiya this might be impossible to ID for various reasons, but u was playing Horizon Zero Dawn: the Forbidden West and came across this awesome room with a plane hanging above the throne, so I was wondering what it was and if it even exists irl

Yeah, I'm thinking that's a fictional plane, but it looks inspired by the F-35 with that lift fan behind the cockpit.
