“I will always be here for you. No matter what.” His words rang in your head as you stood there in your wedding dress. It had been 3 years. You wondered where he was and if he had meant those words. Your mom walks in and before you can voice your feelings, she knows. She knows exactly how you feel and what you’re about to say. She hands you her phone. “It’s in there. You do what you need to do.” You call the number and hold your breath while it rings. Once he picks up and you hear his voice you’re flooded with emotions. “Is she okay? Did something happen?” Your breath hitches and he lets out a small gasp. You’re the first to talk. “Did you mean it?” He laughs and you’ve never been more happy because he knows exactly what you mean. It isn’t like it is with your fiancé. You don’t have to explain, he just knows. Even after all these years. “Of course. Those words will always be true.” And you smile. You look at your mom and she’s crying. You realize you haven’t smiled this big since you left. “Well then, where are you?” He can hear the smile in your voice. “I’m already on my away.”

MIA Boyfriend (Kai)

It had been exactly 5 days since the last time you talked to Jongin. To say you were worried was an understatement. You tried to call calling and texting but nothing. You finally broke down and called Kyungsoo. He told you they were busy with the comeback by everyone was good. You decided to make everyone food and take it to their practice. You made everything, got ready, and made your way to SM. Once you got there all of the boys were excited to see you, except one. "Thank you so much for this! We really needed." Chanyeol exclaimed while hugging you. Everyone sat down to eat except Jongin. He kept dancing and you smiled at the others. Sehun leaned over. "Maybe you should talk to him. He's pushing himself." You got up and made your way over to him. "Hey, nini. Why not take a break and eat? I made your favorite." You said with a smile. "No thanks. I'm not sure why you're here. You weren't invited." He yelled. His words shocked you and before you could say anything Junmyeon jumped in. "She doesn't need an invitation. She is always welcome." Kai scoffs at him. "Please stay out of it. No one asked you." He looked over at you. "You can leave now." He says while turning away. You're shocked and Suho tries to hug you. "No it's fine. I know he doesn't love me." His head flung toward you. Suho tried to talk. "I can take a hint. Your things will be waiting on the porch for you when you're done." Before anyone can say anything you're out the door. You stop at a hardware store to buy new locks and boxes for Jongin's things. Once you got home you boxed everything up and changed the locks. Before you set everything outside you decided to shower. You felt the tears coming and finally let yourself mourn the end of your relationship. After you were done, you started putting everything outside. As you were putting the last box out a car pulled up and Jongin jumped out. He watched you for a minute before you noticed him. He still hadn't said anything. So you decided to speak first. "Everything is here, have one of the boys let me know if I missed anything." You started to walk inside when he walked up. "You think I don't love you?" He said quietly. You turned around. "Think? I know you don't. Well, maybe you did? But not anymore." You got out trying to hold back the tears. "Why would you..." he tried to ask. "I don't know, Jongin. Maybe because we haven't talked in 5 days. We haven't seen each other in 12 and when I tried to see you, you yelled at me and told me to leave." You sobbed out. He stared at you. "So excuse me for thinking my boyfriend doesn't love me when he can't even be bothered to reply to a text or call me on my birthday, which by the way was 12 days ago and I was called by every other member. Ya know, I did see you. You were too busy with some girl at your company to even say hi to me so Kyungsoo and Chanyeol took me out to lunch." You were sobbing at this point. He still hadn't said a word to you. "Please leave, Jongin. You very obviously want nothing to do with me." Before you could shut the door you were pulled into a hug. "I'm sorry. I am so so so sorry. I love you so much. I didn't realize I had been such a Terrible boyfriend." You were both crying at this point. "Please give me another chance. I promise to make it up to you." He dropped to his knees crying. You pulled his arm. "Stand up Jongin. I love you too. Please don't hurt me like this again." He pulled you into the house and kissed you. "I promise. I love you so much." You started giggling at his kisses. "Okay okay but you owe me big time. I think ill start with you making me dinner." He laughed at kissed you again. "Deal!"
