Hello everyone!

The revamp the admins had planned for idolNET’s anniversary has been delayed until the summertime. No exact date has been scheduled, but we do plan on coming back with changes in order to provide a better environment for the members! We would like to thank you all for your patience with us, and hope that you continue to use the idolNET posting platform and interact with each other despite our hiatus. 

That said, any and all help and suggestions for the betterment of the community are welcomed, and if you have any, feel free to send them to our inbox. We will also be looking for a new admin to join the team, so if you are interested, please feel free to contact us at any time!

As you all have noticed, activity has been dwindling around here. We aren't ready to give up on IDOLNET just yet, but we do need a bit of time to figure out how to spice things up once more. IDOLNET is turning a year old pretty soon (April 11), and we promise to be back by then! Thank you so much for sticking with us, and we hope that you still would be here with us, and for us, by the time we come back. In the meantime, continue using the idolnet posting platform as much as you want, and of course MAKE SURE TO INTERACT WITH ONE ANOTHER.

It takes a little fiddling with the recording device to finally see his own image on the small screen, allowing a curve to form on his lips to flash a small, almost timid smile. Behind him stands a large prop to replicate an airplane with a few seats lined up in front of it. While a majority of the set is lit by usual, common lights found in many filming locations, a row of blue lights sway at random points, sometimes falling on his face. A quick clearing of his throat after narrowing his eyes a little to read some of the first few comments leads in to his greeting. “Hello everyone, I’m GOT7’s maknae, Kim Yugyeom. Right now, I’m on the set of our upcoming broadcast for our live premiere of FLY, prior to any music broadcasts. We’ve prepared a really cool performance for everyone who has waited patiently for this comeback so in a while, you’ll be able to see a better, improved GOT7.” Another pause follows during which Yugyeom steps aside a little and guides the camera in a semicircle to show off a little of the stage set up for their use later; for a little more of a dramatic touch, he makes an airy sound replicating that of a plane taking off before bursting into laughter. Soon enough, he’s back in focus, a small noise of complaint leaving his mouth when one of the blue lights lands right in his eyes and he turns, enough to give an even better view behind him of the well-lit city some few miles away. “GOT7 have prepared a lot for this upcoming album,” he begins, tone levelled though enthusiasm would easily slip through particularly when he continues talking about the group’s most recent release, “and as some of you may have seen from the credits, all of us had a hand in almost every track so we hope you’ll listen to it well. Actually… While FLY has been released not too long ago along with the music video, this isn’t all we have in store for iGOT7s. Besides the concerts which we’re currently constantly rehearsing for, we hope you all look forward to our second single due for release in April!” At this point, a smile which can only pass off as a proud one stretches his lips in a bigger, more noticeable smile and even if the fans in the comments section already compliment him for his more active involvement with tracks, Yugyeom still makes it known. “Home Run is a song our leader…JB hyung spent quite a lot of time making so we’re all looking forward to the responses—ah, rap?” Suddenly distracted by the numerous encouragements for him to do so, the idol finds himself grinning, quite determined to go ahead and do so but a call of his name from one of the many stylists has his eyes flicker up beyond the screen of the phone he was given to record. When he looks back in the focus of the camera, he wears an expression full of regret, even jutting his lower lip out just a little to form a slight pout. “Sorry, but you’ll all have to wait until the broadcast but it’s not long left you have to wait! Catch us going live in less than thirty minutes for our Flight Log premiere so don’t go anywhere and tune in! Until now, this has been GOT7’s Yugyeom.”

Taehyung pressed the red button on his phone and it made a small beep noise, indicating that the recording had started. “Hello!” He chimed out into the silence of the room, it felt a little odd considering how silent it was before and he didn’t want to wake up his hyung’s. “My name is Kim Taehyung but you may know me by my stage name of V. I’m a vocalist for Bangtan Boys! Some of you may recognize me due to my notable good looks from various shows I have appeared on.” He took a moment to smile and tilt his head from side to side as he looked at the screen showing his reflection, admiring his sleepy appearance. “I’m in the dorm and it’s really late right now, all the other members are sleeping but I can’t sleep.” He pouted his lips a little as he ran a hand through his already messy hair. “Recently we participated in ISAC which was really enjoyable, it was a really great atmosphere and I had a wonderful time.” He smiles to himself, nodding his head slightly as he speaks, reminiscing on the memories from that day. "So that you know a little bit more about me, I was born on December 30th and I am 20 years old. I really love dogs so if you have a dog or also love dogs, we are bound to get along well. If this doesn’t apply to you I am sure we will get along just fine as I’m a friendly and lovable person.“ He winks and then finds himself giggling at his own actions. Fortunately, he quickly composes himself and takes a deep breath, trying his best to think of what else to say. Usually he was good at telling people about himself but his mind had gone fuzzy from the lack of sleep and he was relieved to know that falling asleep was not going to be a struggle after he had finished recording this self-cam. “I only really go to the studio, practice room and the dorm as well as wherever else my schedule leads me to. For example today I spent a lot of time in the practice room and then some time in the studio with Yoongi hyung. I hope to talk to you soon and please treat me well!” He gives one last rectangular grin as he waves his hand before pressing the button to stop the recording.

The self cam began with a serious Yerin, with her eyes fixed on the small, black device not realizing the camera was already on and recording. Once she did, a small laughter left her mouth, followed by a brief ‘ah’, which showed her disbelief. “Hello, this is cutie Rin! With her self cam. What a cool way to start off, right?” She was used to be the one recording, rather than being in front of the camera herself. That didn’t mean she didn’t want to do that for the fans, though, not at all. So she wore the brightest and more natural smile she could show, hoping that, that could make emphasis on the words she was just about to say. “These promotions were more successful than we expected to and all the awards and popularity we gained, were thanks to our Buddies. You guys have been right beside us since day one… That makes me want to tear up, ah~” The brunette pinched the bridge of her nose as she lowered her head and faked a sob. Seconds after a bright smile was curving on her lips again. The rest of the members were playing around behind her and could be seen on the corners or even peeking from Yerin’s shoulders. The leader and maknae were sitting and watching the two hyperactive, Yuju and SinB dancing to god knows what song, since music wasn’t playing in that moment. “As you might see, we’re in the practice room and are about to have dinner, that’s why the members are so excited, even though it’s 10pm and we had a long journey today. You might wonder why we’re always so energetic… It’s because Buddies give us all of their love!” A slender hand was once again lifted up to her face, her thumb and index finger were pressed together in the shape of heart but soon after, her palm cupped her cheek, to use her aegyo that would 'win over the fans’ hearts’, cheesy, yes, but it was always her secret weapon. “We’re going to eat now, but don’t worry, we will make a new selfcam sometime soon! Also, we got the snacks you guys sent and we’re about to eat some. The sweets will be saved for later. Thank you, guys, I love you!” The girl expressed while waving, before she lifted the camera in order to allow the other members to bid their goodbyes to their precious fans.

His face appeared on the screen, a bit blurry from the low resolution of the phone but his feature was still recognizable. Using the popular mobile application to communicate with the fans through a live streaming video, Seunghoon began his day with a new mobile broadcast for the day. “Hello, everyone. It’s Lee Seunghoon’s of WINNER, in charge of rapping and choreography.” The members who were sitting on the back and next to him, sending out his protest because he was weirdly introducing himself. His face was fresh although the signs of tiredness was visible, but he didn’t seem bother by it. “How’s everyone doing? It’s still early in the morning but we’re already busy moving. You know why, it’s because of the upcoming concert,” he displayed a small smile, a corner of his lips curved up. Seunghoon adjusted the view by lifting his arm he used to hold the phone higher, so the members were also visible on the screen. Their bodies unknowingly swayed along when the car was moving and hitting the road bump, surprising them a bit. “That’s a good way to wake me up, apparently,” he joked. The members agreed with him. “As I stated earlier, we’re on our way to YG for a morning meeting, in regard to WINNER’s upcoming concert next month. We’ve been preparing it diligently for our Inner Circles, so you can enjoy the concert soon. Have you guys eaten anything?” he took a pause, reading some comments filling the left side on the screen. They had not stopped appearing, showing up in incredible speed despite it was broadcasted early in the morning. “I see,” Seunghoon continued, smiling at some fun replies. “Don’t skip your meal and eat delciously for us. As for us, we had not eaten anything yet because someone was dominating the bathroom for an hour so we missed to stop by the restaurant.” Some members mentioned Jinwoo as the culprit, and Seunghoon followed along with a cheery laughter. “The fact that we couldn’t leave him alone because he might get lost on his way to YG is…we’re really considerate to each other, everyone.” He had to stop the talk because of the smack on his shoulder given by Jinwoo. “We’ll be having breakfast at the cafetaria before the meeting start. After that, we’re going to practice in the studio for a bit and heading to broadcast station for promotion. It’s really going to be a long day for schedules. Do we also have fansign we’re going to attend?” Seunghoon turned head and asked Seungyoon who was sitting on the seat next to him. “Nevertheless, I think it’s going to be fun meeting you guys again today, isn’t it? Please look forward for today and continue cheering us on. You need that breakfast to sing along to the song later.” He pointed the camera with his finger and smiled. “We’ll be arrived at YG building any minute now, so I’m afraid I have to end this video now. But don’t be sad! I’ll see you again soon. Bye for now!” Waving his hand together with the members, Seunghoon ended the streaming video with a goodbye.

Suddenly the camera is turned on, and begins to tremble. “Is this on..?” A female voice is heard. The camera shakes violently for a few seconds as she picks it up, turning the lens to herself. “The red light is on which means it’s recording!” One of the members shouted before leaving the room. Staring into the camera, the female waves, letting out a small laugh. “Hello, hello. If you don’t know who I am, I’m Gfriend’s lead vocalist, and cute girl Eunha!” Bursting out into laughter at her own introduction, she covers her face with one hand lightly shaking her head. “Have you guys been watching our performances of our new song ‘Rough’? How do you guys like it, hm?” Cupping her ear with one hand, she leans into the camera and smiles. “Currently we are at the company building in the practice room going over a few parts of the choreography and heading back to the dorm soon.” A blank bubble appears beside Eunha’s head as she becomes lost in words, not knowing what else to say. All of a sudden one of the member’s sneaks behind into the frame. Eunha notices her member and zooms in. “Look, it’s Yerin unnie.” The other waves before the view is back on Eunha. “Currently the time is eleven o'clock at night. We should head to the dorm to eat and then get some sleep, right unnie?” She lifts the camera—suddenly having it slip out of her hands and fall onto the floor. “Oh my god!” Eunha gasps, “What do I do! Camera are you okay?!” She asks while Yerin laughs loudly. “What is wrong with you!?��� Walking over to the younger, Yerin picks up the camera while laughing. “Here, I will hold it for you so you don’t break it.” With both hands covering her face, Eunha couldn’t believe what she had just done. A small text on the bottom from the PD-nim says: Please don’t break our camera, it’s expensive Eunha-ssi. Feeling embarrassed and laughing, she waves her arms in front of her. “I think I should end this here, I feel like if I continue, it will only get worse.” Yerin on the other hand began to zoom in and out of Eunha’s face. “Hey, you look funny close up like this.” And with that, the self-cam ends with a black screen of a sweat dropping emoticon with the text beside saying: “These girls…”
