Today I walked around a few places outside of my village. I found a cool cave on top of a small hill - unfortunately people can see you from the road below, though.

Then I walked down to a cave that was turned into a church and now is abandoned. The wooden door screeched when I opened it, and then I was too much of a coward to head inside all alone - the fact that there are some scary legends associated with that place didn't help. Instead, I sat in the yard of the church and doodled on the floor and on some pieces of wood with chalk. Let's hope they don't scare some poor person into thinking there's a witch around or something (even though being known as the village witch would be sick).

I could have stayed to watch the sun slowly set, but I chose to walk back. That's where the weird/paranormal part of today's adventure was.
I decided to wander for a while at an archaeological site/park we have close to the village centre. It's a beautiful place (especially during spring) and a popular hang out spot for the youth.
As soon as I passed the fence, I saw an orange cat sitting at the end of the straight path, like it had been waiting for me. I crouched and started pspsps-ing at it, and it ran towards me with a familiar "mmmrow?" sound. That's when I realized I knew who the cat was.
"Tigri?"
Tigris had been our outdoor cat since he was a baby, and recently he had run away and never come back. In the beginning we thought he would, as he'd done it before and he'd always return, but not this time. Personally I thought he was dead, even though I wouldn't dare say it out loud. Imagine my surprise when I found him! I took my camera out immediately and snapped a photo as proof that he was alive and well.

Tigris, in his usual fashion, was purring, meowing, and rolling around on the floor. I started panicking about what my next move had to be, so I called my older sister. She was really surprised to hear that I had just randomly come across him, and instructed me to call our other sister (who was somewhere nearby with her friends) and tell her to stop by a supermarket and buy some canned food so that we could lure him back home. I did, and that's when things really got scary.
Do you know of fae? Magic creatures that live in the wilderness and love to mess with people? Well, I was pretty sure that "Tigris" had been actually a shapeshifting fae, trying to lure me somewhere dangerous or unknown and steal my voice or my life. Not only did he stop responding to pspsps or letting me pet him, but he also starting walking down the path, waiting for me to trail after him and complaining loudly if I didn't. I had no choice but to follow him, as I was scared of losing his tracks again until help came. He eventually left the path to climb up a small hill, and at that point I had to convince myself that nothing bad was going to happen to me and it was important that I kept following the cat.
He ended up going inside a small cave and crawling into a hole in the wall, and I didn't see him again after that. My sister and her friends arrived immediately after, and thought I was joking about having seen Tigris. I left with them after all of my attempts to get Tigris to get out had failed, and tomorrow we're visiting the park again to find him. I hope we'll manage to get him to return home.

All in all, I would say that it was a very nice evening I had, as I got to walk, appreciate some nature and calm down a bit. I also had fun taking pictures with a digital camera rather than my phone because, apart from it being nicer, I really need to spend some time offline. (Saying that on a blog on a website I waste all my day in is completely insane but anyway lol.)
Some more pictures from my day out:

That's all for today! I really enjoyed writing this blog (and finally getting to write some proper English rather than the unintelligible variation of the language I use on my main blog lol) and think that it could be a good motivation for me to go out more, as well as snap more pictures of things I like!
