one idea which i don’t really believe per se but has been very entertaining to toss around in my head is the idea that phoenix is zor, not from a cloning angle, but from a time travel angle. realistically, it doesn’t make very much sense, but the idea of phoenix finding something about the agency that makes them decide it would be better off if the agency wasn’t around at all, or the agency does something that they resolve to try and stop somehow. maybe i’m just in a part of my life in which i crave the catharsis of watching a hero who just wants to save the world becoming the villain they’ve been trying to stop, but it’s been very fun to think about. certainly not a theory. maybe an au?

i may be too woke but this cowboy au thing is a but. odd. To start off i am not saying that the cowboy au in general is bad. that would be very very stupid. cowboy aus are very fun. however. cowboys were traditionally mexican. 1800s cowboys were whitewashed by media because of how racist the south was, and still is. and seeing almost every single cowboy in this cowboy au be a white person while putting them in traditional mexican ponchos that these mexican cowboys wore to represent their culture is not very pleasant. The media took these ponchos and whitewashed them into something the white cowboys in media wore, there are ways to make your phoenix/cowboy look like a cowboy without putting something that southern white people took away from hispanic people on them. Again, this could just be me overthinking this whole cowboy au thing, but as a hispanic person it kinda just doesn’t sit right with me. I don’t want to bring politics into this stupid silly spy game, i just wanted to bring this up and see if i was overreacting.
