I’m so glad that Kid Cosmic was able to be green lit for the amount of seasons they needed to tell its story! Most cartoons nowadays don’t get that luxury

Kid Cosmic Headcannons

This came to me randomly at 3 AM so it might not make sense. :p

It’s that Papa G is the only one in town who knows the kids real name. When Kid was in the car crash that killed his parents the last thing he heard was his mother shout to him using his real name and then everything went black. Whenever Papa G came to see Kid in the hospital he noticed that whenever he addressed him by his real name he would tear up so he started just referring to him as Kid. When Papa G took in Kid to live with him, maybe he told the towns folk about the circumstances or they kinda just went alone with the name Kid and never questioned it.

There is one main requirement for being a part of the Kid Cosmic fandom

Having bababababababababa ba ba ba playing in your head at all times

OKAY so I’m throwing out some ideas I’ve had for some Kid Cosmic angst to the fandom.

So Kid gets injured during a fight with Erodius or some other evil baddie. Kid is on the verge of dying and everyone is scrambling for a way to save him but in the last moment his cosmic stone (could be all 5 of them) bonds with him to keep him alive. Like on his forehead, above his heart, or wherever he got hurt. Everyone is initially relieved and happy that Kid is okay but then he starts having side effects. If only his stone saved him then maybe he’d unintentionally make stuff move like hurdling rocks at his friends when he gets angry or whenever someone gets too close his power will push them away(poor guy). If it’s all 5 stones that save him the side effects are 10 times worse.

—The Locals would have to take turns watching him at night because he randomly portals in his sleep.

—He doesn’t enjoy reading comics anymore because his precognitive powers always spoil the endings.

—Whenever he gets excited he’ll sometimes grow or float, which causes damage to the building he’s in so he has to be careful as to not get too excited :,).

—When his emotions get jumbled and he’s overwhelmed his body will make clones of himself each one with one central emotion (like Jim from Trollhunters in that one episode)

I’ll probably add more later but that’s all I’ve got for now. Feel free to add on or drop more ideas in the comments👀
