Louis’ lawyer Martin Singer released a statement this morning on his behalf. 

He said: “The paparazzi provoked and caused the altercation that occurred with Louis at the airport this morning.

“This is not the first or last time that a paparazzi has created an altercation with a celebrity.

“While the altercation was going on with the paparazzi, three other individuals were attacking his girlfriend during this incident and he came to her defence, causing airport security to intervene”.

Louis Tomlinson wanted a photog out of his face at LAX, and the altercation ended with the photog smashing his head on the floor and Louis ended up in cuffs.

It went down Friday night at LAX baggage claim.  We’re told the 25-year-old singer was with a female companion and the photog was too close for Louis’ comfort, so he allegedly pulled the photog to the floor by his legs. The photog fell backwards and struck his back and head on the floor.

It didn’t end there.  A female witness started recording Louis’ female companion as she tried to leave. The 2 women allegedly then got into a physical altercation.

The witness and the photog both made citizens’ arrests.  

Tomlinson was arrested for simple battery and booked at a nearby LAPD jail.

Unclear if his companion was also arrested.

In 2017 can we make it a thing where we stop referring to Louis as trash king because I find that highkey offensive.

Eleanor: supported Louis no matter what, stood up for his sisters when they were bullied, had a close relationship with his mother and had nothing but love and respect for Louis and his whole family.

Briana: always talks kindly about Louis and how great he is as a father to their child, involves Freddie in Louis' life, listens to Louis' songs for Freddie to enjoy even though it might hurt her to be reminded of an ex, does what's best for Freddie, let's Louis be in his son's life, loves and respects his family.

Danielle: loves and respects Louis, is there for his family in tough times, loves and respects the mother of his hold, loves and respects his son and how awkward the situation might be with him raising a child with another woman. Has nothing but kindness to share when it comes to Louis, his career, and his family.

Larrie: hates on louis' family, hates on Louis, hates on every woman he talks to, mocks his own child, sends death threats to his family, makes everything he does about harry, uses his name to do harm, bullies everybody in his life including him.

Also larries: we are the only ones who love Louis for Louis.
