Tried experimenting with different styles on MS Paint, using my group’s RP characters, which resulted in this. So from left to right: Ruby (Ostricho), Fred (me), and Gerald (Mr. Meme)

I gave Ruby round shapes because she’s young and idealistic. Fred is serious and brooding, so I made him tall and lanky, while exaggerating his portions. Gerald has a mix of blocky and round shapes since he has a heroic body, which is pretty nice.

Hello, I’m just gonna dump here a bunch of art that I did for a MOTHER-based RP I’m currently doing on Discord with a bunch of friends from Starmen.net. It’s called “Keepers of Eagleland”, and it takes place after Mom1 and EB.

1. My main RP character is Frederick “Fred” Hawthorne, and he is a psychic Greaser. He is 21 years old, and he is an aspiring artist, but he had to deal with an emotionally abusive father who kept trying to stop him from drawing. His powers are mostly based around healing/support, but his main offensive technique is PK Freeze, and he also has psychic empathy. He’s pretty intelligent for someone his age, and can think up solutions on the fly.

2. Concept sketches of Fred and his little sister, Rose. I based Fred’s appearance on Ken Wahl from The Wanderers, while Rose was based on Tracy.

3. Huojin was a character my friend, Ostricho, played as at one point, but he wasn’t a main character; he was designed as a young villain, a psychic boy from Dalaam who, unlike Poo, failed to learn the ways of Mu and use Starstorm, which left him feeling... quite insecure. I imagined he was initially bald, to represent his blind loyalty and idealism, and also how people kept trying to impress on him and manipulate and use him. His growing some hair was also planned in later parts of the story.

4. Rose Hawthorne was another RP character I had created. She is 12 years old, which makes her 9 years younger than Fred. Unlike her psychic big brother, Rose is completely normal. She also has artistic talent like Fred; she draws, but she recently dabbled in writing. Rose was Fred’s one ray of hope while living with their Dad, who is basically an asshat; she was the only person Fred confided in, and she gave him emotional support. Her outfit was based on this (second to the left)

5. More sketches, this time of Fred, and Ruby Delgado, Ostricho’s main RP character. Ruby is also psychic like Fred, except she has PK Thunder, she’s telepathic, and she can turn herself invisible. She is 13 years old, and she idolizes past heroes like Ness and Ninten. I also tried to emphasize how tired and worn-down Fred is when he’s not being a Greaser, hence why I always give him heavy eye-bags.

So I had this for a while, but was unable to scan it in until now.

Inspired by @pk-freezer-burnt and @twinkens-art, I drew a fusion between Frank Fly (post-Earthbound) and Leo. His name is Morpheus.

So here be some headcanons about Morpheus:

- He mainly goes by “He” and “Him”.

- He’s usually called “Morphy” by his friends.

- He’s very intelligent and a very powerful fusion; his psychic attacks are incredibly strong. He’s also the sleepiest, LAZIEST fusion around.

- He often sleeps on the floor in “nests” made of pillows and blankets because he’s too lazy to ACTUALLY GO TO BED.

- He likes “easy” foods, as in whatever can be made quickly (sandwiches, soups, buttered toast, etc.), but also has a huge sweet tooth.

- The picture above is his default outfit, but usually he wears dark blue sweatpants, white socks, and over-sized band shirts.

- He can sleep up to...... almost two weeks if he wanted to.

- He has four eyes; Leo’s the top pair, Frank’s the bottom pair. Frank’s eyes are usually closed. This makes Morpheus look extremely tired. If all four eyes are open and looking at you, RUN.

- He has powerful future vision. This is because I headcanon that Frank gained psychic powers after Earthbound and future vision was one of them. However, Morpheus almost never acts on his visions unless it’s extremely bad.

- His future vision also manifests in constant streams, and he’s often muttering predictions in his sleep.

- He constantly REEKS of psychic power, so much that weaker enemies would git rekt just from the sheer aura he projects.

- Frank’s usually the dominant personality, so much of Morpheus’ existence is 99% sleep and 1% being productive. If Leo’s the dominant one, then Morpheus is more productive....... but he has to drink LOTS of coffee to stay awake, because Leo is fighting Frank’s sleepy influence. Morpheus often drinks espresso, the strongest coffee.

- His relationship with the Mom kids is like a sleepy, often cranky older brother dealing with rambunctious younger siblings. He is best pals with Travis, though.

- He’s mainly tired and apathetic, shutting out his surroundings so he can sleep. He’s also indifferent to the present because of his future vision; he’s seen it all. He cares for his friends, though, even if he doesn’t show it often, and will forego sleep for a little longer to protect them if they’re in danger.

- His hair is really long and SUPER SOFT. It’s also so shiny that it twinkles like stars whenever it moves, giving it a “Sun in space”-like effect. Meryl loves braiding his hair.

- His voice is somewhat deep, and tired-sounding. It has a slight echo due to his power.

- He doesn’t tolerate being disturbed while sleeping. He’s more forgiving if you woke him up for something important, but he just prefers to sleep, guys. Anyone he deems the worst offenders will automatically get PK Beam’d in the face if they wake him up.

- Pouring ice-cold water on him while he’s sleeping will also earn an instant PK Beam to the face.

- His special ability as a fusion is dream manipulation. He can enter your mind and give you some fucked up nightmares.

- The only reason why Frank and Leo fused is because their friends were curious what would happen if they fused. Because Frank and Leo had a good relationship (close friends who just started dating), Morpheus turned out stable, but no one predicted his constant tiredness.

- He and Floyd don’t get along at all. Floyd’s really salty that Morpheus is a lazy bum instead of the cool and badass fusion he imagined him to be, so he’s always trying to wake him up. PK Beams, PK Beams everywhere.

- Morpheus’ tiredness mostly comes from Frank, who often stays up late tinkering with machines. So when he and Leo fused, his exhaustion carried into the fusion. Morpheus’ (involuntary) repeated use of his future vision tires him out, too.

- His music aesthetic is soft rock and relaxing jazz.

- He usually uses psychokinesis to get things instead of just getting up, walking over there, and getting the things himself.

- Travis often naps with him whenever he appears.

- Like Frank, he loves sharks. Great White sharks fascinate him the most.

I finally drew @pk-freezer-burnt‘s Mom4 fusions in my own style. They be Troyd (left), Mevris (middle), and Fleryl (right). I kinda fudged Fleryl’s hair. Ooops.

A thing I did with MS Paint back in March this year for some more headcanons I had for Frank Fly.

Anyway, this is how I imagine Frank Fly would look like post/after-Earthbound, after the Sharks was disbanded and Giygas’s face was punched and all that. I liked Frank with a hair bun so much that I decided to keep it as a headcanon. Frank’s outfit on the left is what he would usually wear while in public or kicking enemy butt (barring formal parties). Frank’s outfit on the right is what he looks like at home or at a friend’s house like Apple Kid’s – take off the jacket, shoes, and gloves, and voila! Instant relaxation. Though the shirt and pants vary with each season; he’ll wear jeans or shorts if it’s like summer and a bajillion degrees outside.

If you ever wonder why Frank has white streaks in his hair, it’s because he carried a lot of untapped psychic potential for years and never knew it. When it came out, it was during a stressful moment and everything took such a toll on him that his hair streaked white and left him very sleepy in order for his body to catch up with his power.

Uh-oh, looks like Ninten and Pippi got caught doing shenanigans again. Koyano and Teddy are NOT happy. Can Ninten worm their way out of this situation?????

(p.s. Teddy is the taller, dark-skinned guy with a braid and closed eyes, while Koyano is the shorter Asian guy with a pompadour. The reason why Teddy has closed eyes is because I hc Teddy as blind.)
