I don't know if you intend to do anything with them (they don't have to be the player insert okay that's just my imagination) but I figured I'd bring them up. Having friends in closer proximity (given Kouign-Amann and Capsaicin are in different schools) can keep a lonely guy just sane enough to get through the day in my experience.

General code clean up
Added milestone rewards for reaching a certain number of visitors.
Invite dialogue for Prune Juice, Pavlova, Vampire, Gumball, Ninja, Squid Ink, Herb and Butter Roll cookie. Added more to Smilk's.
Started making a break room that the player can decorate but I've decided to disable it until the important things are finished first.

I LOVE THE PRUNES POTION SHOP IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's probably one of the most creative and fun sounding prune juice fan content I've ever heard of (I love that lil goober, he's so underrated)

Summary
Become Prune Juice Cookie's apprentice and help him run a potion shop. Brew and sell your creations to familiar faces from the Cookie Run Kingdom cast.
Planned Features:
Basic shop simulation (Buying, selling, inventory management)
Discover new potion recipes and fill out your archive.
Meet new cookie friends and fulfil their requests. You can choose to stay and chat or get straight to work.
A single underlying story that develops with player choices.

Q: How much will it cost? A: The game will be completely free. I have zero plans on paid content. (I'm scared of getting sued)
Q: When will the game be released? A: I'm aiming for sometime in 2026, but no promises! However the date will be pushed back if I land a job somewhere.
Q: What platforms will it be available on? A: PC and potentially Android.
Q: What are you using to make this? A: For art assets I use XPPen and ClipStudioPaint. The game engine is Renpy and uses some Python.
Q: Is this an AU or strictly canon? A: It's merely my interpretation of the characters. I've had to take a lot of creative liberties but I've tried to retain what makes them "them". There's bound to be some deviation, intentional or not.
Q: Will there be romantic ships / shipping? A: If you look closely, yes. Although I'll be primarily focusing on what Devsis has implied, such as SeaMoon and Cocoa x Mint Choco.
Q: Can I make posts about this online? A: Absolutely. More feedback the better! I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts and ideas on how to improve the game.
Q: Can I help make the game somehow? A: Playtesting is something you can definitely do when the Beta/Alpha is ready. Aside from that, I'm always looking for feedback and new ideas so please yap in the askbox. There will also be the occasional poll hosted here on Tumblr so be on the look out for those!

For some reason I'm having a better time with programming than art. Why is programming so much easier I've only been doing it for like 5 months now. I anticipated drawing to be the easy part but god I was so wrong.

The basic gameloop runs now. Can be played indefinitely
Optimising variables so the whole thing isn't bloated with if statements.
Started coding the "Invitation Letter" (aka pity system) to help the player meet their favourite characters faster.

The potion shop mockup was intended to be an April Fools tease but the idea kept festering in my brain until I did something about it. Now I must make it a real thing.

Implemented a random number generator that'll be used to randomise shop visitors. (So far there's Nutmeg Tiger, Black Sapphire, Wedding Cake and Sorbet Shark)
Fucked around and found out with the GUI. Needs work but at least I know what I'm doing now!
Can drag and drop ingredients together and churn out a result.
Can buy ingredients from Catnip Cookie

Rewrote Cori's introduction scene. They aren't immediately nice anymore, which will leave room for character development and a sense of progression. Though I'm kinda sad about cutting out half the jokes.
Got the bgm working after like an hour of struggling. The high I got from seeing my efforts finally pay off was like a fucking drug. God I need to tinker with more stuff

Comedy - A feel-good game intended to tell short and sweet stories with the CRK cast.
