I have an absurd amount of thoughts on Poppit despite not drawing her much in my spare time. The fact in itself that she's possibly a lesbian or at least sapphic and trapped in a 'perfect' marriage with a man who overperforms a macho charade...

I like to think that, unlike Bloberta, she was far more tomboyish in her youth and went against her parents' wishes often. Rather than doing choir/singing I see her being very passionate about piano playing, although this wasn't something her parents intended to pass onto her but her brothers. Perhaps they had assembled some type of little band that plays at weddings the most.

I imagine upon meeting her, Art was fascinated by her presentation coupled with her 'rebellious' demeanor. Although genuine interest soon degenerated into a desire to see if he could try his hand at shaping Poppit into a more traditional partner.

I mentioned the piano thing as well because, again unlike Bloberta, I think she either avoids playing it or *can't* altogether because the effects of pills later into her marriage. Hands are too shaky, Art catches her staring longingly at the instrument and only averts his gaze when she starts crying.

Not really so much a defined headcanon. I just wanted to figure out how I'd draw his face.

if you take requests, could you draw doubt arc emo orel and agnostic tommy hanging out?

orel and tommy make me so content that it's difficult to even come up with scenarios for them that aren't palatable just to me

During Orel’s planned doubt arc, do you think Tommy would have helped him navigate doubt as a kid in Moralton?

Yeah, definitely. Even if it's difficult for him to display empathy, he'd push a lot through biting his tongue and not outright degrading what is Orel's long term coping mechanism or taking his hostile behaviour to heart. I think out of his friends he's the one with better control of his words later on, i imagine he's the first to gesture at Doughy to hush up when he says something out of place or directly elbow Joe when he's too blunt.

It must be jarring to see him so absurdly jaded with life when prior things that had happened to him didn't break him down, Tommy isn't dumb and picks up it must be an insane change in Orel's brain. Also they're friends above all, he'd be concerned regardless.

I remember seeing in your old ship chart young adult Bloberta x current timeline Clay, I’m curious what you’d imagine their dynamic would be like?

I have a lot of thoughts on Bloberta herself to begin with but, if i had to narrow it down, it would be something akin to a FDIA 'caregiver'.

We were shown that younger Bloberta wasn't exactly meek and even forceful to achieve a goal (that being swaying Clay or Clay in himself as an object). I figure she wouldn't be much different towards older Clay, maybe more aggro as he doesn't hide his pain tolerance and is blantant about latching to any type of special attention, even if it's Blob inflicting painful things on him and playing worried

I feel Clay would be responsive to this as opposed to with current Bloberta because younger Blob feigns motherly (?) concern still, which is a main point of appeal and vulnerability of Clay's. I also feel younger Bloberta is more asphyxiating and demanding than current, again resembling Angela.
