Did you know? There's a shorter route if you travel from Cagayan de Oro City to Gingoog City. Route 955, a more or less 60-kilometer 2-lane stretch from Villanueva to Gingoog, Misamis Oriental cuts travel time between CDO and Gingoog-Butuan. Aside from lesser travel time, travelers will enjoy beautiful mountain scenery and a stop over at the Flight 387 Memorial Marker. The route was actually opened in 2014 but with several stretches of unpaved roads until its completion now.

If you are coming from CAGAYAN DE ORO drive going to VILLANUEVA MISAMIS ORIENTAL around 25km VIA CDO-Butuan road, turn right on the way to claveria. If you passed MOSCAT-USTP Claveria Campus continue driving until you reach Brgy. Aposkahoy turn left on the road going to Balingasag you will pass a stall bridge where you can park. Your vehicle start strekking on the way left side of the road and follow the river. The falls is around 200 meters from the bridge.
If you coming from Gingood city drive to Mercado Avenue theu Gingoog. Claveria road until you reach the Cebu Pacific Flight 487 market in Mt. Sumagaya.
