Hi welcome to my blog, I’m not sure how you came to be here but I hope you will stay for a while and get to know me a little better. The best place to start a personal blog I assume is to tell you a little bit about myself. So here goes. My real name is Jenni but I am better known as “Olive”. I am a mother to 3 teenagers and lover to 1 gorgeous man (AKA Pistol). We have a delightful little pooch called Frida (after Frida Kahlo) and we live on the North Shore of Auckland. I have created this blog as part of a college project for my Digital Marketing Studies, and that’s just perfect because I’ve actually always wanted to write a blog!
ILOVEOLIVE comes from the fact that I’m always saying “I LOVE” and this can be directed at anything amongst my favourites which includes opshopping, people, music and food. A friend of mine actually pointed out that I say “I LOVE IT” a lot, and I realised that this is a great thing and positive indication that I’m happy in my life and with myself, and it’s only taken me 50 years to realise it!!!
If I was to give an elevator speech about my Blog ILOVEOLIVE,it would be as follows :
ILOVEOLIVE is all about laughter and love later in life. ILOVEOLIVE will motivate you to quit spending ridiculous money on labels and change your lifestyle with snazzy sustainably sourced outfits instead. ILOVEOLIVE doesn’t look for a silver lining as she is a living breathing glitter bomb (LOL sustainable glitter of course).
