Tikal, your third member of the Elite 4 in the Pokemon Trainer AU

And lo, I finally crawl my way out of the depths of hell to finally deliver unto you... the him. Don't look at the blood I'm covered in, it's irrelevant.

The third member of the Elite 4 trainers will typically face, this sleepy man is Tikal, the Unova League’s resident fire-type expert. Tikal is perhaps the most battle-happy out of the entirety of the Elite 4, willing to jump into it at a moment’s notice. Despite this, it’s a well-known fact he would always much rather be napping, and as such it’s not unusual to find him in clothes that would be very comfortable to sleep in, even in more formal settings.

Tikal is originally from Alola, with it believed his ancestry dates back to the royal line of the region. Other than sleeping, in his free time he can usually be found in parks, telling the legends of his home region to those who only ask.

His team consists of:

Vulcan (Camerupt, male, Lax nature)

Zenya (Darmanitan, female, Calm nature)

Atlantis (Sigilyph, male, Quiet nature)

Mahi (Lunatone, Quirky nature)

Starumtra (Crustle, male, Relaxed nature)

Pyrrus (Armarouge, male, Docile nature)

Some fun facts:

-There isn't much character or design inspiration for him here unfortunately (tho he low-key seems like he's got some Larry), but I did design his clothes to look like comfy sleepwear as a nod to him essentially sleeping before Returns and then awakening at the start of the game!

-I actually wanted to craft Tikal/Tiki Tong right after I originally posted what for here will be the final Elite Four member, but I was worried he wouldn't come out in a way that worked, so he got put on the backburner for a couple of months. The humanoid Tiki Tong I made a while back was actually meant as an in-between test, but I liked the design so much I still use it.

-I did have some trouble figuring out if I wanted him to be a fire-type (the volcano) or psychic-type (the hypnotism) trainer, so shout out to Zephyr for being the decider on that ages ago.

-Tikal is quite fond of nanab berries. In fact, K. Rool has been known to pick them out of random assortments to give to him, though there was one specific instance where there was none and K. Rool was more upset by it than Tikal.

-His dreams are often precognitive. It's mostly mundane innocuous things that would prompt deja vu in anyone quick enough to catch it, but there's been times it's been more serious scenarios.

-You wouldn't know it by looking at him, but he's quite fond of games that require quick thinking.

-He and Enki are distantly related.

You know what, it's been long enough that I don't mind giving out of context info about what's happening so far in the document:

A minor typo (that I intend to fix before the actual release) makes it sound like Diddy is holding Jay and DK hostage over his favorite flavor of candy

In different chapters and for different reasons, Asari and Cranky both are not beating the Weenie Hut Junior allegations

A mimikyu scares the everloving hell out of Jay and he tries to punt it like a football

Cranky and Wrinkly commit a crime together (it's her idea)

It's incredibly obvious my knowledge of investigative protocol comes primarily from watching so much CSI and Forensic Files as a kid
