Besides the fact she is just awful to him, Varian disagrees with much of what makes Taoide, Taoide.

She is a magic user who purposely abuses her power for her own gain.

While Varian is a scientist who prides himself on using his intellect and tech to help and benefit others.

He has only ever needed Taoide’s magic twice and he paid a heavy price for it both times.

All the brushes I use are all free in the procreate library!

For sketches I use the 6B pencil

Line art Ive really been loving the Freycinet brush in the drawing category, it has such a nice sketchy graphite pencil look to it.

Base colouring I go for a classic studio pen and use a soft paint brush/airbrush for rendering~

Of course I change what brushes I use as my art progresses or as I experiment.

I definitely suggest just going through the procreate library and trying different things out for funsies you may find something that sticks and works for you! 🦈

I draw Varian how I want

This is the last time Im talking about this

One critique.

Varian should be taller than Eugene.

They are basically the same height, not that it matters. Thats not what I focus on in my art. I simply have a story to tell, where Varian happens to be older.

Im aware of the politics with height in the fandom at the moment and Im putting my foot down to say right now I want no part of it. Let people have their own headcanons and draw what they want. This discourse is dumb so leave me out of it.

Hey babes gentle reminder if seeing content for a ship makes you genuinely and physically upset I have some oh so helpful tips for you,

1. Get out of the tags for that ship

2. Go outside find a nice beautiful lush green patch of grass and touch that shit

3. Block the tag thats upsetting you

4. Stop actively seeking out content for that ship

and last but my favourite,

5. Mind your business

Find yourself getting upset over fictional content again to the point it ruins your day follow steps 1 through 5 again 😀

Because I guarantee those shippers aren’t stopping anytime soon and that content is gonna keep getting made~
