To those who doesn't like Gaius Augustine:
It's honestly fine if ya'll don't like him, but what's messed up is if you guilt shame others for liking him. I respect those who doesn't like him and doesn't guilt shame others though, cause he did do horrible things. My LI is Adrian, but I can't help feel bad to the people who feel guilty about liking Gaius because of other's opinions. I saw posts and comments that GUILT SHAMES people for liking gaius, saying that they're maniacs and disgusting.
He was literally brainwashed and manipulated, like in the scene where Adrian, Kamilah, Lily and Jax were brainwashed and they suddenly wanted to kill MC.
Sure it was his own choice to treat Kamilah horribly and kill MC and many other terrible things, but he was literally shaped that way. And PB did try to redeem him at the end by helping MC and feeling guilt. He made terrible mistakes, but if he truly is sorry and wants to change does that really mean he's not redeemable? That he shouldn't be forgiven?
We have our own opinions and some people like him, others don't. Just because they like Gaius doesn't mean they're horrible psychos or maniacs who likes terrible people. You don't have to guilt shame those who like Gaius, it's literally just a game and people can romance who they want.

Pasta - Bryce Lahela x MC
[ Bryce x MC (Kaylee) ]
Summary: you decide to help Bryce cook for him and his sister, him making a mess at some point
Author's note: this took place in the second book chapter 5 in Bryce's apartment, I just made a little bit of changes at the end
Warnings: slightly steamy
Word Count: 1,992

You eyed the bag of groceries right in front of you. "So what are you going to do with all those?"
"I dunno. Hope for the best? Unless... there's a chance you know how to cook?" Bryce replied, a hopeful gleam in his eyes.
"Of course I do. I'm an adult."
"Ohmygod. Could you help me out?" Before you could even respond, he knelt down to the ground and looked up at you with those eyes of his.
"Please, Kaylee. I'd owe you the world's biggest favor." How could you say no to that? He could be really persuasive sometimes. Bryce and Keiki agreed on making your suggestion, pasta, and before you know it, you were already taking out some of the groceries and laying them out on the countertop. Bryce examines everything laid in front of him on the counter with a clueless expression.
"So what happens first?"
"Where's your pot?" Bryce walked towards one of his cabinets, and opened it, revealing the pans and pots stored in it, before taking one.
"First I need you to put a pot of water on to boil."
"Excellent. That is the one cooking thing I already know how to do." Bryce smiled as he enthusiastically filled the pot with water.
"Boiling water isn't cooking, Bryce. It's so basic it's not even a skill." Keiki suddenly commented from the living room, shaking her head. You watched as the two debated about their cooking skills for a couple of seconds and rolled your eyes, a smile on your face at their ridiculousness.
"Hey Keiki, if you wanna provide commentary you'll have to do it from over here. Preferably while helping." At that, Keiki threw the remote she was holding and strides over to the kitchen, looking at all the stuff you've done so far.
"What do you need me to do?"
"Why don't you keep an eye on the water and add the noodles once it boils? Bryce can use his surgical skills to chop the vegetables and I'll start browning the meat." I suggested, taking the noodles and placing it beside her.
"I can definitely chop stuff." Bryce added as he started washing the veggies. A moment of silence passed by as I looked at Keiki. Her and Bryce had the resemblance, and if I were to see them at first, I'd say they're siblings.
"So, Keiki what was it like growing up with this guy for a big brother?" I asked, propping my elbow on the counter as I leaned against the wall, right beside Bryce.
"I dunno. He skipped out when I was in elementary school." Bryce gave her a look, both defending and guilty.
"I didn't skip out, I went to college." He argued, pausing from cutting the vegetables.
"And never came back."
"I called."
"Yeah. Thanks."
"You guys must have been close at some point, if you've come all the way here to stay with him now." You barged in, trying to defuse some of the tension.
"...I guess he used to be pretty funny."
"Used to be?" Bryce looked at her in disbelief, feigning a look of hurt. You laughed and agreed with Keiki, which caused Bryce to turn his gaze of disbelief at you now. You turned your back on Bryce to hide the grin that was making its way into your face, taking the beef off the heat and replacing it with the veggies Bryce chopped up.
"Can you open the jar of pasta sauce?" You asked Bryce, not taking your eyes off your task. Bryce mumbled a simple 'sure' before grabbing the jar from the countertop. You heard grunts and looked beside you where Bryce was struggling to open the jar.
"You good?" Keiki asked, more amused than concerned at his failed efforts.
"Just– peachy–" He struggled for a few more seconds in a weird position, the jar faced slightly upwards, before the jar burst open when you weren't paying attention. Keiki casually stepped out of the way as the sauce flew all over the place, mostly on you and your hair.
"Bryce!" His eyes widened and he tried to stifle his laugh, failing miserably. That's it. You grabbed the remains of what was left in the jar and threw it at Bryce. And again, Keiki stepped out of the way, all too amused at the scene unfolding in front of her.
Bryce covered his eyes as the sauce dripped down from his head. He grabbed a good amount of the sauce and held you in place, rubbing it all over your arm before starting to run away.
"Oh no you don't." You grabbed him by his arm and tackled him down, pinning him on the ground. Keiki rolled her eyes and stepped into the room to give you two some privacy as you fought each other. The room was filled with you and Bryce's laughs, and of course, the pasta sauce.
"Okay! Okay! I'm sorry!" He frantically apologized as you were about to pour the rest of the sauce on his face. You put the jar down and the both of you laughed. Just then you were aware that you were straddling him, splotches of the sauce dripping down from your hair.
"You're staring." Bryce raised his eyebrows, a smirk on his face. You quickly snapped out of it and muttered a quick apology, but before you could climb off his lap, Bryce held your hips in place and leaned upwards, pressing his lips to yours in a soft kiss. You kissed him back, not caring about the mess the two of you made for a moment.
"You taste like sauce." You laughed once the two of you parted and stood up.
"We better clean this up." Bryce suggested as he took off his dirty shirt and washed his hands in the sink. He took some cleaning supplies and started mopping the floor. At least it was only the floor that's messy.
"You should probably shower. You can use mine and ask Keiki to take one of my shirts and lend you a towel." He went back to moping before pausing to look at you with a knowing look. "Or... we could save water and shower together."
"I doubt your sister would appreciate that."
"You bet I wouldn't. Here." Keiki appeared, handing your clothes. You were surprised at how quick the girl managed to find you a set of clothes. She led you to the bathroom, and you thanked her before completely enjoying yourself in the shower.
A few minutes later, you were out of the shower in Bryce's shirt and shorts, hair dripping wet.
"My turn." Bryce said as he walked into the bathroom, and you took notice of the clean kitchen he just finished cleaning. You finished up the pasta, despite it being cold, and silently thanked Bryce in your head for buying two jars of pasta sauce. You called Keiki who was sitting on the living room sofa, plating the food you just made, and setting it down on the table. With amazing timing, Bryce walked out of his room, hair still wet, and walked towards the dining table. You tried not to focus on his shirtless form, the lower part of his body merely covered with a towel and leaving the rest to your imagination.
"Ew quit the tension." You regained focus as Keiki snapped at the both of you, Bryce grinning from ear to ear as he slid a shirt on.
"You so did that on purpose." You gently nudged Bryce on the side as he sat beside you, and he gave you a cheeky grin.
"I don't know what you mean." He shrugged, the smile still evident on his face. He sniffed the smell of the meatballs laid out right in front of you and nonchalantly hummed to himself.
"Smells good." He said, before trying to take a piece of meatball from your plate. You slapped his hand away as it was just inches away from the meatball. Pouting, he dug into his own plate, you and Keiki following afterwards.
"This is delicious."
"It's pretty good."
"You're welcome." The three of you finished up the rest of your dinner and talked for about half an hour before Keiki yawned and stood up.
"Is there a bed I can crash on?" Bryce looked up at Keiki and pointed towards the door near us.
"Take mine. Just don't go snooping around in there." Quickly thanking you for dinner, Keiki heads to Bryce's room and you heard the door slam close before Bryce sighed beside you. He got up to put the dirty dishes in the sink before sitting on the couch. You saw his tired out face, dark circles under his eyes evident as you made your way towards him, frowning. For a moment he looked up at you before staring at the TV that was right in front of him, and patted the couch next to him. You took that as your signal to sit down and you couldn't help the worry that edged onto your face as you stared at his worned out state. He leaned back and rested his head against the back of the couch with a wince.
"Looks like I'm sleeping here tonight." Your frown slowly turned into a smile as something came into mind.
"Bryce... so what you're saying is that we're currently in bed together..." You trailed off and Bryce grins at you, the traces of his sadness gone in an instant.
"That's exactly right." His grin grew even wider, and before you could process what was happening, he was pouncing on you, capturing your lips in his own. You let out a giggle as he grabbed your side and tried pushing the both of you into a more comfortable spot. His tongue slowly parted your lips, granting him access as he pushed you back into the soft cushions.
"Mmm..." He let out a groan as your tongues met, gently stroking at your waist. You hastily tugged his shirt over his head, flinging it aside before feeling him all over.
"I've missed this view." You said in between kisses, your hand grabbing the back of his neck, pulling him closer to you.
"All you ever have to do is ask." You let out a moan as he kisses you harder, his body pressing urgently against you, and you whined when he parted the kiss. "Besides you just saw me shirtless."
"Shut up." You pulled him back to you and wrapped your legs around his torso, your lips pressing hard, but softly at the same time against his. The hardness in between his legs was very much prominent and pressing against you, showcasing his evident need for you. You slowly rocked your hips forward, earning a loud groan from Bryce as he raked his hands up the back of your -his- shirt.
The both of you were fighting for dominance, you pushing him back against the couch, when he slowly unclasped your bra. You quickly held his hand and parted from the kiss to stop him.
"We... we should stop." You were panting as he trailed kisses from your jaw to your neck to your collarbone, his hands running up and down your sides. "I don't think your kid sister would appreciate us making love in the living room while she's trying to sleep."
Bryce groaned and reluctantly pulled away from you, eyeing your face as you reached back to clasp your bra. "Or... we could just... you know, try to stay quiet."
"Bryce!" You smacked his arm before getting off him, the lack of heat and touch in his lap made him groan once more in annoyance.
"You better fix that." You pointed and laughed at his current state, enjoying him covering his face with his hands as he walked towards the bathroom. You looked at the clock, and written on it was 11.30 p.m. Guess I'm staying here for the night.

Blind Date - Dakota Winchester x MC
[ Dakota x MC ]
Summary: With some time, Amy finally convinced you to go on a blind date, but a certain ghost made the date a little more interesting
Author's note: this is part of the ghost series, but can be read as a stand alone. Just keep in mind Dakota's a ghost here
Warnings: none
Word Count: 1,270
Part 2 of the ghost series (Blind Date can be read as a stand alone)
"So, have you tried dating?" You sighed on the phone as you stopped writing and put your pen down, along with the croissant you were eating.
"No, Amy."
"Why not? Wait you know what, you better have not without telling me. But seriously though, he would want you to move on instead of just hanging onto the thought of what can't be." Oh boy, if only she knew.
"Amy..." You warned her.
"That's it! I'm setting you up on a blind date. There's this friend of mine, and I think he'd be really into you." You groaned and burried your face into your pillow.
"Is that really necessary? Can't I just be single?"
"No, I'll give you the date, time and place. You better go or I'm dragging you there myself."
"But–"
"No buts, I have to go now. Bye!" She gave you no room to complain as she hung up on you. You loved your friend, and you really did appreciate her efforts, but Dakota's here and now you have a blind date with someone. This really wasn't necessary, but you're going either way whether you liked it or not, because Amy's definitely not going to give up on this.
You sighed and went back to writing your essays that were due tomorrow. Ever since college, you'd been so busy and you barely had time to go and visit your friends anymore.
"I heard something about a blind date?" Dakota appeared out of nowhere, making you jump.
"You have to stop doing that. It's the third time today."
"I just can't resist." You felt the tiny piece of croissant leave your hands and shoved into your mouth, which made you instinctively chew.
"It's been an hour and you haven't finished your croissant. Poor thing, I bet it's cold."
A few days later you had just finished college and you were in my room, contemplating what to wear for the date. You were certain that you've been spending at least thirty minutes in front of the mirror, deciding what to wear.
"Does it really matter? It's not like you're actually thinking of it as a date... right?"
"What if I am thinking of it as an actual date?"
"Don't tease me." Within a blink of an eye, Dakota was standing right behind you, his strong arms encircling your waist from behind.
"What do you say if I tag along this little 'date' of yours?" He said, beginning to leave light kisses all the way from your shoulder, up towards your neck. You didn't even try to push back the shiver that ran through your spine at the feeling of his lips on your skin.
"Mmm... okay..." You could feel the smile forming on his lips as he kissed your neck one last time before pulling away.
"Better get dressed before I carry you to bed instead." Your eyes follow his, landing onto your lack of clothing. You spent another fifteen minutes getting ready before hearing the honk of Amy's car from outside. Dakota disappeared as you went downstairs and outside into your friend's car.
"What took you so long? I texted you ten minutes ago."
You shrugged involuntarily as she started driving. "Didn't know what to wear."
"Alright. So just remember, don't be awkward, and guys like it if they can do something nice for his date, so let him pay."
"But–"
"Trust me." You slumped back in your seat, just wanting this all to be over with. You were probably going to scare him off or something. Well... if Dakota doesn't do that first.
Thirty minutes later and Amy's dropping you off in front of the restaurant. She helps you grab your things and urges you to go inside.
"Do I have to?" You whined, staying put in your seat.
"Yes! Now go have fun!" She ushers you out before driving away, waving at you through the window. You were standing there, annoyed, when you felt a tug on your hand, pulling you towards an empty corner. Your instincts immediately went to throw a punch, but Dakota catches your blow easily.
"Woah, calm down. It's me." He appeared right in front of you, slowly letting go of your wrist.
"Don't just do that! I thought I was getting kidnapped!"
"Thought you'd be used to it by now. You know, the whole ghost thing." He shrugged, slinging an arm around your shoulder.
"Not when you're pulling me in alleyways and corners." You patted his cheeks before striding off inside the restaurant. As the waiter leaded you towards your table, you saw no one there and you frowned.
"And he's late?" You heard the voice scoff, seeing no one there. "Come on. Just ditch him, we can have fun." Dakota continued to whisper in your ear, still not visible to the eye.
"You know I can't. He's Amy's friend and she won't let this go." As if on cue, you see a guy in a blue shirt headed towards your table. You knew Dakota was watching his every move, probably planning to do something stupid.
"Hey, are you y/n?"
"Yeah. I suppose you're my date? Derek right?" You tried not to sound so uninterested, making Dakota snort from beside you. If you could punch him right now, you really would. You just hoped that your 'date' didn't hear anything.
A few minutes later, the two of you were ordering and this was getting way too boring for you. As if he can read your mind Dakota pulled Derek's chair back a bit, just enough to make Derek look behind him.
"What's wrong?" You asked, fully knowing that Dakota was messing with him. Derek glanced around a few more seconds before turning to you.
"I could have sworn someone pulled my chair back. It's nothing." A few seconds later, a nut hit his face, making him flustered all over again.
"What– who–?" He was cut off shortly when he fell backwards from his chair. You gaped as some faces turned towards Derek.
"Are you okay?" You quickly got up to help him.
"Yeah, I just felt something in my back and I guess I fell backwards. Oh god, this is embarrassing." His whole face flushed as you helped him onto his seat. You were pretty sure that Dakota was laughing his arse off right now.
You made your way to your own seat when the waiter came back with your food and a pitcher of water, which made you worry a little. Okay a lot. You could practically sense Dakota's next move and before you could even eat your food, Derek was drenched in water. Your mouth hung open widely as you stared at the scene in front of you.
"I-I'm sorry, I have to go." Derek rushed out of the building, you chasing after him. But before you could catch up to him, he was already gone.
"That was just mean." You scolded and Dakota appeared beside you.
"Come on, it was a little funny." He nudged your side with his elbow, and worry began to edge his face when he saw the serious look on yours.
"Poor guy." You shook your head and walked towards the bus stop. You didn't feel like having to explain the whole date to Amy as she drives you home, so you settled for the bus instead.
"Hey, I'm sorry..." Dakota whispered in your ear, disappearing from sight.
You sighed. "It's okay. I guess it was a little funny." You laughed to yourself, getting a few weird looks from the people next to you.
"On the bright side, now we can spend time together."

Ghost Of You - Dakota Winchester x MC
[ Dakota x MC ]
Summary: You always visit Dakota every week for the past few months after he died, but this week was not like any other
Author's note: I started reading WEH and spoiled myself by reading fanfics and now I'm just in denial and I can't accept the fact that Dakota is gone, so I wrote this and a whole bunch of ghost dakota imagines and made the ghost series
Warnings: mentions of death, grief
Word Count: 1,845
You took a deep breath as you approached the stone, walking through the muddy path. It started to rain slightly just as you arrived in the graveyard, but you didn't care. You needed to see him. You always do every week.
Stopping just in front of Dakota's gravestone, you placed a hand on top of the stone, the tiny droplets of rain pouring down on your hand.
"H-Hey, Um... So it's that time where I go visit you and talk to you again, not that you can hear me right now. I just wanted to let you know that mom and I had some fight the other day about something I said to her. It's silly, really, but I just thought I'd let it out."
"Everyone else is doing well. Uh, Mateo is Mateo. He's always trying to cheer me up by sending me a funny text or something. A-And Lennox as well. I can still recall the time when we first met and I thought she hated me." You smiled at the memory. "They're always telling me that you'll always be here with us, but I just can't help feeling lonely and lost now that you're gone."
"I'm missing you so much right now. And I-I know that you'd probably want me to move on and smile again, but I just can't help think about you all the time."
"Your smile, your laugh, that cheeky look on your face whenever you're planning something I don't know about, or when you're always teasing me. I have to admit, that's pretty annoying, but I would do anything to have you here with me right now. You can tease me and make jokes as much as you want as long as you're here." You laughed as tears started to spill from your eyes.
"A-Anyways, I-I just... really miss you. L-Like, a lot. And you might not be able to hear me right now, but I-I hope you're doing okay up there."
"It's been quite a while since you were gone, but somehow I've always had hope that you can somehow come back. It's really silly, I-I know." You could feel the rain hit your cheeks, blending in with your tears as you smiled.
"I just wish we had more time. I really don't know and don't want to let go of you." You kneeled down on the grown, unable to control the wave of emotions washing over you. Tears flowed freely down your cheeks, hitting the stone path underneath you. You didn't care that your clothes were soaked, or that you might get sick from the rain.
"I wish you were here, I miss you so much." You spoke out, one last time before completely breaking down.
You quietly sobbed for a few more minutes before you felt something light, weighing on your shoulder. You slowly lift your face, turning around to see who's hand it was, when you're greeted by a familiar face, smiling down sympathetically at you.
"Dakota!" You leaped towards him, his arms instantly wrapping around you. You didn't know why you did it. Other people might've just ran away in fear, but all you could think about was the man standing in front of you. He pulled back just a little, to wipe the tears staining your face, his own tears starting to form.
"I missed you too." He responded as you buried your face in his chest, tears freely flowing down.
After a few minutes of holding each other, you started to calm down and your breathing was normal again. You pulled away to look at the ghostly figure in front of you, and you can't help but frown.
"So you're a ghost? Am I imagining things?"
"Something like that. And don't look so disappointed, it took me months to be able to be seen, and it took me even longer to find out a way so people can touch me."
"I'm just glad you're here." You snuggled your face in his chest once more as Dakota ran a hand through your hair.
His head bent down, stopping right next to your ear as he whispered softly, "You should get out of the rain, you'll get sick. And if it makes you feel any better, I can accompany you for a while."
You nodded weakly before feeling him lift you up, never releasing the tight grip on your boyfriend. He guided you back towards your house that wasn't too far from the graveyard. He knew you'd get sick at this point, after spending all that time in the rain. Your mind wandered off as the two of you walked, hand in hand. All of this was a lot to take in. You had just gone from having a normal day without Dakota to crying in the graveyard, and now you're walking with his ghost? This was all too much and too overwhelming.
Your thoughts were interrupted by the sudden harsh pouring of the rain. Dakota started urging you to go faster, and the two of you ran back until you've reached the front of your doorstep. You hesitate for a moment, brows furrowing in disappointment. You didn't want this to end. If he goes, who knows if he'll come back.
Noticing your hesitation, Dakota stepped forward and faced you. He lifted a hand up to your cheek, and as if he read your mind, he said, "Hey, it's okay. I'll see you again later. I won't be gone for long, just until you're somewhere where your mom can't see you."
You weren't sure, but you nodded anyways and before you could blink, he faded away. You kept your emotions at bay and reminded yourself that he'll be back. You stepped into the house to be greeted by your mom, her arms folded across her chest.
"I was worried about you, why didn't you come back earlier? And you're soaking wet."
"I'm sorry, it's–" She heavily sighs and shakes her head.
"It's okay, go shower." You gave her a thankful look as you headed upstairs towards your room. You pushed the door forward, jumping at the sight of Dakota sitting on your bed, examining the photo frame in your room. He smiled once he saw you entering, and you raised your eyebrows in question.
"You okay?" Your mom shouted from downstairs.
"I'm fine, mom!" You quickly shut the door before rummaging through your closet to look for some comfy clothes.
"Don't–" You threw your clothes at the boy-er-ghost sitting in front of you. "Scare me like that." He laughed and set your clothes beside him on the bed.
"What can I say? I couldn't resist, now that I can do these ghostly things." There it was. That smug smile of his that you want to both slap and kiss off of him.
"Well go on, I'll be right here."
"Don't even think of doing things."
"I don't know what you mean." The wide grin was still plastered on his face as he leaned back onto your bed. You glared as you retreated to the bathroom before closing the door and stripping down, hopping onto the shower. You closed your eyes in content as the warm water hit your back. You thought of all the crazy events that happened today. To think that all this happened in just one day was hard to believe, just Dakota coming back as a ghost was really hard to believe.
After finishing off, you had just noticed that you left your clothes back in your bedroom. This is going to be interesting, you thought as you wrapped a towel around you.
"Dakota?" You called out and you heard a subtle hum in response. "Can you please get my clothes?"
"Which one?" He pretended to look around the room. "Oh this one?" He asked, grabbing your clothes from the bed and you could practically hear the smirk in his voice.
"Ugh yes just– give me those."
"So you want me to come in through the walls and give you these?"
"N–!" It was too late, he had already phased through the wall, and to your surprise, the clothes made it through the wall as well.
"Here." You could see the struggle in his eyes as he tried keeping them focused on your face, and only your face.
"You're lucky I'm wearing a towel. Now get out before I strip in front of you."
"I certainly wouldn't mind th–"
"Nope! Out." He obliged and you quickly slipped your clothes on before exiting the bathroom, a towel in your hand to dry your hair. Dakota watched as you brushed your hair before making your way to the bed, where he was sitting.
After a few moments of silence, Dakota began to speak up. "I know that this is a lot to process, and you have so many questions right now, but what I need you to know is that you need to go find someone else."
A flash of pain crosses your face and you could see the regret on Dakota's face for being so straightforward.
"Why? You're back now. I-I-We can be together again." He frowned and took both of your hands in his.
"We can't. Just– look at me. We can't have a future together, we can't start a family together. I can't even be seen." Your chest started to hurt from all the thoughts running through your head. Everything the both of you want, but can't have.
"No, we can find a way. A-And for now we can just be together. I lost you, and now we've just found each other again. I can't– we can't– You can't just go visit me as a ghost and then leave!" You squeezed his hands even tighter, trying to keep the tears from falling, but failing miserably as Dakota pulled you towards his embrace and let you cry on his shoulder. You felt something wet against your neck, which could only mean tears of his own were forming.
"The longer I stay the harder it'll be for you to let go of me." He whispered silently.
"I don't care, I-I just want you..." It came out quieter than you intended it to be, but with all the thoughts running through your head, you couldn't think properly.
"You know we can't." His voice was even softer this time.
"I know." You closed your eyes once more, leaning further into him.
"Okay..." He kissed the top of your head, lingering for a little while longer as if he didn't want to stop. He pulled back slightly to look at you, wiping your tears just as he did back when you first saw him today.
"Who knew ghosts could cry?" He cracked up a joke to defuse some of the tension as he laid down, and you smiled at his silly attempt. You let your head fall front to his chest and snuggled into him. You didn't care about the future right now. You didn't think about what would happen after making this choice. What you cared about for now, was being with him.
