Nik and I had been together for about three decades, we met at a party that the Mikaelsons had hosted and from the very first moment we saw each other something happened, he invited me to dance with him and I really wanted to accept but I had to play hard to get so of course I said no, but I was hoping for him to insist or to just don’t give up easily and of course that didn’t happen so by the end of the night we ended up dancing and talking about anything and everything.

At first I didn’t know about the Mikaelsons’ little or not so little secret but as the time went by Nik and I started to hang out more and things just started to be suspicious but of course I didn’t say anything I mean at that moment I didn’t know about the supernatural world so I thought I was going to sound crazy, but fortunately Nik thought he could trust me and he told me the truth not all of it but a lot of things, and with the time I started to know more about his life and the life of the rest of the family.

Time passed, and I was sure I wanted to spend eternity with Nik so after a year or so of dating he turned me and now we have been married for about three decades, but it doesn’t matter how many years we have together or how many times I have proven to Nik that I can take care of myself, he always gets worried like the first time.

I still remember the first time that I was in danger, it was when we had just a couple months of knowing each other, by this time he hadn’t admit any of his feelings, but I knew he felt the same way I did. So I was at my home doing the usual boring human stuff like cleaning my house when I heard noises outside, I decided to look through the window but I didn’t see anything so I didn’t give much importance to it and that was my mistake because the next thing I remember is waking up in a room from and abandoned house, tied to a chair and with a piece of tape covering my mouth so it would keep me from screaming.

I remember being really scared and thinking that that was my end, that I wouldn’t live to see another day, I didn’t recognized the kidnaper but I do remember the torture he made me go through but I also remember how Nik came to save me, apparently the kidnapper and Nik knew each other for a long time, they fought until Nik literally ripped his heart out, after that Nik untied me and gave me some of his blood to heal me.

He held me there for a while just hugging me and keeping me close to his chest which actually helped to make me feel better and ever since that day whenever we are in danger or some enemy of Nik decides to kidnap me again Nik pretty much loses his mind because he still blames himself for not being there to protect me that one time.

It has been about 10 years since you met the Mikaelsons, when you met them you were 16 years old, you had to go to libe with them because apparently your family was friends with them and since your family got killed on a terrible accident you had no other choice but to go with them and I mean do not get me wrong, you loved living with the Mikaelsons, they were great and they always treated you like family until this day.

You were at your room, doing basically nothing, considering that for the first time since you had met the Mikaelson everything was okay and you didn’t had to worry about anything, more specifically about any supernatural being that wanted to murder your family (the Mikalesons). Everything was going as planned until you heard some noises coming from downstairs, you decided to go check if everything was fine but before you could even move you had Nik right in front of you and he looked pissed.

—Did you think you could betray me and go unharmed?— was the first thing that he said to you and you couldn’t understand what he was talking about

—What do you mean Nik?—

—Dont act like you don’t know what Im talking about, your secret is out and not thanks to you, Kool told me what you were planning to do, I am very disappointed Y/N I would have never expected this from you…I want you to leave right now—

—What? Nik I really don’t know what you’re talking about, please I would never betray you—

—Just leave Y/N before I do something I could regret—

—But I don’t have nowhere else to go—

—Thats not my problem— and with that he left the room, you could see that he was heartbroken, you had seen Nik being upset and angry and pretty much any emotion that Nik could have you have seen it, but you had never seen him this way, he was angry but he was also upset and something else that you couldn’t really explain, but whatever it was it hurt to see him that way.

You couldn’t explain what had happen or why Nik had acted that way, but what you did know was that Nik wanted you out of his life and so you did, you left the house, even though you didn’t have nowhere else to go.

After the fight Nik had left the house because he knew that if he stayed he might do something he would regret later but who could blame him, he trusted Y/N with his eyes closed, she was the only one that had never betray him and he thought she will never do it until Kol told him otherwise, he was hesitant at first but Kol was so sure about it and why would Kol lie to him? It didn’t make sense so thats why he decided to believe his brother. Once Nik had calm down, he decided to go back home and he knew he didn’t want to see Y/N there, but he also knew that deep down he wanted to see Y/N there, because maybe that would mean that she wanted to talk and prove her innocence, but when he got back she wasn’t there anymore, he was upset but also angry.

A couple hours later Elijah and Rebekah got home and Rebekah went straight to Y/N´s room and she was surprised when she didn’t see her there, so she went to Nik´s room where also Elijah was and asked Nik were Y/n was, Nik had no other choice but explain what had happen and to say that Rebekah and Elijah were mad is the least. After talking (yelling at Nik) for about 10 minutes Kol got home and Elijah made Kol explain what had happened, Kol wasn’t sure on what to say but he knew that if he lied his siblings would notice so he decided to say the true, and the truth was that he had lie, but of course he wasn’t expecting for something like this to happen, he just wanted to mess around a little bit and “prank” his brother and Y/N by telling Nik that Y/N was planning on betraying him, now that he thinks about it maybe that wasn’t the best idea but what is done its done and there is nothing he can do.

When Nik heard Kol saying that it had been a prank he couldn’t think about anything else other than going to find Y/N.

He looked through every place in the city that he could think of and he couldn’t find her until he remember a park that she used to love, she hadn’t go to that park in years but it was the only place that he could think of at the moment, so he went to see if she was there and luckily for him she was there sitting under a tree just looking at the beautiful sunset.

—Can I sit here?— was the only thing he could say, Y/N just looked at him and nod, he could see that she had been crying and he felt awful for making her cry — I'm sorry Y/n, I should have never doubted you, not even for just a minute, you have always been loyal to me and…—

—It’s okay Nik I understand, Kol told you something and of course you would believe him, I mean he is your brother after all—

—No Y/N it’s not okay, you’re my family as well and I should trust you…please, would you forgive me?—

—Of course Nik—

After that they both went back home and everyone was happy to see Y/N again, Kol apologized to her and Nik and everything was fine again.

Y/n was new in town or something like that, she used to live in New Orleans as a kid, but her family decided to move to New York when she was about 4years old, now she was back in New Orleans, she was supposed to be there just for a few weeks considering that she was there just to visit her friend Davina. Y/n and Davina had been friends since they were kids because their families were friends, and even when Y/n’s family left New Orleans they kept in touch, so now Y/n was visiting Davina and Davina’s boyfriend Kol.

Y/n knew what Kol and Davina were, but she was just a human, of course she found the supernatural world to be something really interested but she was good with being just a human. What fascinated her the most was listening to all the stories that Kol had told her about her family, finding it really interesting the fact that there was a family of originals, but of course she was mostly amazed by the original hybrid, and she was hoping that maybe someday she would be able to meet the family.

A couple of days had passed since she arrived to New Orleans and believe it or not nothing interesting had happened or at least nothing interesting for Y/n, she had spend the days hanging out with Davina and Kol, which meant that most of the time she was just third wheeling even though they tried really hard not to left her alone. One day she decided to take a walk through the French Quarter finding it really beautiful and mesmerizing, she was having a good time when she heard someone crying, she tried to find were it was coming from until she saw a little girl crying in an alley, she decided to go with the girl and ask her if she was okay.

“I was playing in the park when some men started to walk towards me and I got scared” was the little girl’s answer.

“Why don’t you tell me your name, so we can go find your parents princess?” Y/n said with the warmest smile she could give the kid to transmit her a little bit of confidence, the kid was about to answer when they heard some voices coming closer to the alley, when Y/n turned around she saw two men blocking their way out of the alley and the kid started to cry again, the men just looked at each other and then started to get closer to the kid.

Y/n got in their way, one of them tried to grab Y/n’s arm, but she was faster and kicked him in the most sensitive place a guy has, and when the other tried to attack her she took something from her bag and spray it on his face, she had no clue what it was, but Kol had given it to her on her first day in New Orleans, and she was very thankful because apparently it had caused way more damaged than she had intended to, and when the other guy realized that, he just ran away.

“Thank you! You are my hero and mommy need to know this” the little girl said once she had calmed down. “Oh, and by the way my name is Hope”.

After that, the kid grab her hand and started to walk, Y/n decided to go with the kid just to make sure she got with her mom safe, after a couple minutes she saw a big house were apparently the little girl lived, and as soon as she put a foot on the house there were about seven people standing in front of them, the kid ran into a man’s arms so Y/n assumed it was her father and when she was ready to leave she realized that from those 7 people that had been standing in front of her, two of them were Kol and Davina. Y/n looked at them confused at first, but she quickly understood who they were, they had to be Kol’s family and by the look he gave her she confirmed her theory.

“Daddy, mommy, that’s the girl that saved my life” the kid said with a smile on her face.

“And who could you be?” asked the man that Y/n had assumed was Hope’s father.

“She is Y/n, a good friend of ours” said Kol to his brother.

“Thank you so much for saving my daughter” said the woman holding Hope “If there’s anything I could do for you just ask and by the way my name is Hayley, and the guy with the no so friendly look is Klaus” she said introducing herself and the man standing next to her.

“Yeah thank you for saving my daughter” Klaus said with the sincerest smile that he could give her. “You are welcome to stay here if you want to, and like Hayley said, if there’s anything we can do for you just ask, after all, you are the girl that saved my daughter’s life”.

After that the rest of the family introduced themselves and everyone kept thanking her for saving Hope’s life, and soon they also became friends with Y/n.

Y/n was in her room trying to distract herself, considering that everyone was out it was a little bit harder than she had expected first, she wanted to be out with the rest of the family, but Klaus had been pretty clear when he told her that he didn’t want her out, he didn’t want to expose her to any danger, not now that he had her back.

Everything was going fine, if you ignore the fact that she was bored, but soon that changed. She heard a voice coming from Klaus’s bedroom, and she knew it wasn’t Klaus, so she decided to go check what was going on, it’s not like she couldn’t protect herself, she had her magic and she was still a vampire, so everything should be just fine. Once she got to Klaus’s room she realized there was no one there, and she also remembered that no one could come inside the house without Freya’s invitation and she wasn’t in the house either, Y/n decided to ignore that for now and wait until the Mikaelson’s were back and tell them. When she was heading back to her room, she heard a voice again, but this one was a different voice, and suddenly that voice became two voices, then three and so on, but no one was near, the voices started to be too much for her, she felt like she was losing control, she fell to the floor in an attempt to walk, and as fast as the voices came they were gone, she didn’t know what to do now, so she just laid there on the floor until someone call her, she looked up only to see Elijah who looked confused, she only smiled and went to her room.

Y/n had been thinking whether if she should tell the Mikaelson’s what had happened or not, she decided not to say anything until she was sure what was going on. A week passed since then and the voices hadn’t come back, she started to think that maybe it was just a side effect of coming back to life, so she ignore it.

One day she was out with Rebekah, the only way she was able to go out was if someone else was with her, Y/n and Rebekah were having a great time, but of course that couldn’t last long, Y/n started to hear a voice again, but this time she knew the voice, because of this she went pale and Rebekah realized that, but not only that, Rebekah could see that Y/n was scared, and when she tried to talk to her, Y/n just disappeared, it was something Y/n did with her magic, so Rebekah assumed that she had go back home, but when she got there Kol was waiting for them in the entrance and when he didn’t see Y/n with Rebekah he started to panic mostly because he knew Klaus would be mad. They tried to call Y/n before Klaus realized she wasn’t home, but Y/n wasn’t answering and soon Klaus realized what had happened and like Kol had said Klaus was beyond angry.

When Y/n disappeared she had pictured going back home, but for some reason her magic wasn’t working like it should and she ended up in some other place that she had never seen before, and the voice was back with her, she was starting to think that she was going crazy, she didn’t understand what was going on with her, and like the last time the voice became two voices, the three, then four, and so on. She didn’t understand what the voices were saying and again she was starting to lose control.

She felt someone touch her shoulder and her first instinct was to protect herself the best way she knew, with her magic, she suddenly realized that her attacker was Klaus, but it was too late, she had hurt him, of course that it hadn’t been much for the hybrid, but it was enough for Klaus to worry about her.

Klaus thought that by killing Mikael he would be able to move on from Y/n’s dead, but he was wrong, there was nothing that could help him, not even his own daughter was able to fill the emptiness that Y/n had left when she died, so he decided to do what he once promise her he wouldn’t do, Klaus decided to bring Y/n back to life, he knew she wasn’t going to be happy because she didn’t knew if bringing her back to life would be like bringing back to life to any other supernatural creature or if it would have consequences that they might regret on the future.

Klaus found someone that was “willing” to help him, but all of this was behind his siblings’ back, he knew that they would stop him, considering that they have promised her the same thing and even though they also missed her they couldn’t do that to her, they had to keep that promise, and Klaus also wanted to keep that promise, but the guilt was killing him alive, just the thought of that innocent soul dying because of him was too much for the hybrid and he couldn’t live like that, he was even considering killing himself, because maybe like that he would be able to see her again, but then he remembered that the other side didn’t exist anymore and that there was no other way to see her again, so he brought her back to life.

When he saw her face again was like he had come back to life as well, suddenly everything was better as if all his problems had disappeared. When Y/n saw Klaus she smiled, she was happy to see him again, she knew that he hadn’t kept his promise, but she was glad, being dead wasn’t a good experience, she had suffer a lot while she was dead, but that’s a story for another day, all she wanted to do was to be with her family again, and so they did, Klaus took her to their home were the rest of the Mikaelsons were and of course they were surprised at first, but they couldn’t be happier, their baby was back and that was the only thing that mattered.

Weeks had passed and everything seemed to be going just fine, but soon everything changed.

Every supernatural creature has heard about The Originals/The Mikaelsons but no one knows them like Y/n, the most powerful witch that has ever existed, her power was like no other and you might be asking why? Well Y/n wasn’t a common witch, she was turned into a vampire by Klaus back in the 1800s and when she was turned she kept her magic and ever since then she has protected the Mikaelson family no matter what. Soon Y/n was also part of the Mikaelson family and may God bless any soul who dared lay a hand on the sweet Y/n. She was the youngest, and the sweetest, she was innocent unlike most members of the family.

And for all those reasons and more is exactly why it destroyed the Mikaelsons but mostly it destroyed Klaus when Mikael killed her in an attempt to kill Klaus. She was there, and she realized what Mikael wanted to do, so she got in the way and put a barrier between Mikael and Klaus with her magic, but she couldn’t control it for much time, so when Mikael saw an opportunity he killed her, because he knew what that would do to Klaus. Klaus swore he would avenge her and so he did when he killed Mikael.
