Backstory:

At a young age Liliana fell in love with romance stories. Unlike her peers she had no interest in casual sex. Instead, she dreamt of finding her 'one true love' all her favorite stories mentioned. Of course she knew that despite this she would still have to do it in order to gather energy for herself and her community but that didn’t bother her. Once she had graduated she traveled the world on a quest to find her soulmate. She would also use this as an opportunity to harvest mana and life energy to fund her search efforts. After many attempts over the course of several years she finally met someone she felt she could truly love. They dated for a time and Lily felt confident to take their relationship to the next level. Together they shared in a physical embodiment of their love. While not her first time Liliana had never quite felt so good. Her mind was lost in a euphoric haze as she became drunk on the pleasure of sharing their bodies. After reaching climax she realized she had consumed the very life essence of the person she loved. Stricken with guilt and self hatred she locked herself away. Her mother was the one to pull her back by saying that withering away alone would not bring them back or absolve her guilt. Instead she suggested to find happiness and do good in the world as that is what they would have wanted. Lily finally agreed and decided to work at her Aunt's non-human brothel, the guild Lua Rosa. Not as one of the working girls but as security to help give them a safe space to do their work. She was able to get enough energy to keep herself healthy by dealing with any troublemakers. By traveling around with the guild and helping and protecting others, she learned to forgive herself and let go of her past trauma. After this is when she met and made a contract with Vivi.

Been working on this off/on for like a month and finally finished it earlier this week as I really wanted to get something submitted for NezumiVAs last Umineko stream!

This is my witch oc, Etoile! I wrote a small description on her image, but here's a bit of an extrapolation about her powers:

For the pink truth, imagine a trolley problem, where she might say something like, "Those 5 people on the tracks will die!" If you switch the track and save them, her pink truth will disappear into nothing, but then you're already engaging her fate-altering powers. If you choose not to do anything, that's when it would become red, because fate wasn't changed. It works something like that!

Anyways, just some words from me--

To Nezumi: Congratulations on accomplishing voice acting the ENTIRETY of Umineko!! What the heck, and the last part falls on Oct 4th?! That's so cool! Your streams were the perfect background to many, many, MANY, hours of drawing! It's incredible how you brought life to each and every character aaaand I'm honestly already wanting to watch from the beginning again LOL :P Keep being awesome~!

P.S. I love the ending segment with the art showcase, there are so many talented people in the fandom and I really enjoy seeing everyone's memes, art, and fan OCs! I think without that as a source of inspiration I would have been way too shy to submit something >w<

hi!! oh my gosh i'm so flattered that you'd want to buy prints of my art ;w; <3 unfortunately i'm not really able to do prints right now this moment, but i can certainly look forward to it someday in the future! i'm also, tbh, not sure about the legality of selling that particular drawing since it's based on perfect blue, so yeah! i'd have to look into it all :)

but aww honestly even getting this ask made me so happy and maybe i will look into it sometime/making more original prints for umineko (possibly other fandoms too?)

Say Hello To Vivian Vex!

Before anything else I wanna thank @imcoffeecats (VGen) for the wonderful comm experience from start to finish. It was an absolute pleasure working with them and I highly recommend checking them out if you're looking to comm someone!

Anyway I've been wanting to talk about this here for a while, but was waiting for the sheet to be completed before doing it. We had talked about making a "mascot" character for my server in the past and we finally went along with the idea in December. Vivi here was born from the input of many members and my own. Expect to see a lot more of her in the future! also backstory for her under cut

originally she was just supposed to be the server's mascot but my brain engaged DM mode so I made a whole backstory for her (and more), which my bestie helped touch up in some parts so some wording is not exactly the same as I'd use on my own

Vivian was born to a servant couple in service of the Vex family. She was assigned to be the personal attendant for Miriam, and so they grew up very close, becoming best friends and leading Vivian to be extremely protective of her.

   When she had free time she would practice magic, and during one of these sessions a professor from MAM’s adventuring academy, who was visiting Miriam’s parents, saw her and recognized her natural talent, offering her a scholarship. Vivian hesitated since she didn’t want to leave her lady alone, but after much encouragement from her family and Miriam herself she decided to go.

  Despite her reservations about enrolling, Vivi quickly became the talk of the school. The servant girl to mage prodigy. At first many looked down on her because of her origins. However, with time, it became clear that Vivi's methods were completely unorthodox. She was often found working out in her free time. Despite being a mage she could probably hold her own in melee combat. One of Vivi's classmates secretly looked in the journal she always carried in an attempt to learn her secrets. Only to find cute sketches and doodles with seemingly no rime or reason. Vivi noticed the girl and attempted to explain how these sketches were spells but the girl was simply more confused. Vivi's strange methods and general kind nature made her even more popular. Often having students come to her for aid.

   Vivi successfully graduated several years before most and began to travel the world with a couple members of her graduating class. While on one of these adventures, a member of her party got seriously injured. Vivi had no way to help and cursed herself for being powerless in such a grave situation. She vowed to never allow that to happen again and switched her focus onto defensive and healing magic instead.

   After many years and having achieved the goals they set out with, the party decided to split up and retire. During their travels Vivian developed a greater interest for various art forms, so she decided to create a mobile archive/gallery so she could travel the world not only to experience more art but also bring the joys of it to as many people as she can.  The name of it being the “Argentum Galeria”.
