I recently found this little gem of an outtake gem from the “Between the Devil & the Deep Blue Sea” Meatface shoot back in November 2016 the day after the US election. One of the photos from this shoot was featured in the UPRISE/ANGRY WOMEN exhibition that took place at @untitledspaceny in NYC January 2017. 

Here is a little snippet from my artist statement for the exhibition - “I was in London when Brexit was voted in, and now I am in the United States as Trump is elected. It was heartbreaking to watch Brexit’s effect on the UK and I am devastated to witness a vile man become president of the country that I was born in. My heart lies deeply rooted in both countries and today I am mourning for the US and the UK. There is so much unknown, so much apprehension, so much to be scared of and sad about. But amidst all of this unknown I believe that there is a constant: that from this time of loss, despair and rage there will come astonishing art that will help bring about the change we so desperately need. I am pushing myself as hard as I can to persevere through this depression and disappointment to create my own art with a fierceness I don’t think I’ve ever felt before. It has ignited a raging fire within me - within so many people of the world!! - and I think that we’re going to come out of this a stronger, more united planet. We must fight for change, we must all work together and most importantly we must continue to CREATE.” 💪❤🍗 Happy Sunday my dears.

I am not alive (game) I’ve done a lot of work the last weeks to make my vision become reality. Its almost 10 years ago that i created videogames, so it feels like a reboot to me. I never stopped working on it, cause its a kind of project that comes from the heart. Created with love and not based on financial interests. It will be free to play for everyone. The most importand thing in life is love and the life itself… not the money.  Since i was a young boy, my biggest wish was always to create worlds where people can dive in, paint, create art, create music, tell stories with philosophical backgrounds and make people happy… and maybe some times: share wisdom and peace. The last year my main job becomes very boring (i’m a fulltime software developer) and most of the workday i code business stuff, webservices, contentsystems… for the big industry… i do that just for the money, like many of you too. Last year the idea popped up to bring my art to live… to create something for people und not for the industrial complex. So creating a videogame is the best way for me, cause i can share my art, my music, my stories and …Fun :-). And i can use all my coding knowledge to bring that together. I know, that i could not hit everyones taste, but thats a normal thing… its art… otherwise it would be a mainstream thing. But i am not a mainstream man :-) i’m a rebell.
